Demonology Warlock

Demonology is a cool spec but I think, “imp mother,” would be a more fitting name for the spec, sometimes.

It’d be cool if the ultimate summon (think +5min cooldown) was an Eredar Lord which would cause your keybinds to switch (think druid, shifting forms) to focus on controlling the demon. After a while, you have to dismiss it or you’ll lose control over it and it’ll turn to one-shot you before vanishing into the Twisting Nether.

While summoned, the Eredar summons a steady stream of Infernals and Shivarra to decimate your foe.

Grand Warlock Wilfred Fizzlebang forgot to set up his keybinds when he summoned Lord Jaraxxus and was attempting to control the demon via having his spellbook open. Amateur.

Is a pit lord on a 3 minute timer not enough? Lol

I love pit lords. That’d be a close second!

Assuming it makes it out of alpha (it will since its been made already) its a new talent.
When nether portal ends we get a pitlord.

And because of how many talent points we get, we can still have our tyrant as well.

So in theory we can have our felgaurd, imps, dogs, tyrant, and a pitlord all out at once.

You turning into a giant skull and vomiting out imp mothers. And then you keep puking out fat Imp Mommy’s until you can finally take no moah! Then in order to cancel these summons you must summon an Eredar Lord, take control of his body and destroy all the Imo Mommy’s before they turn on you.

The demon variety build hasn’t been so good numerical but it’s an option.

While i know its stupid to think otherwise, and i cant say i do really…
It is alpha.
Numbers can change at any time.
Maybe they will realise its not as strong as it should be.

Its blizzard so yeah. Maybe not.

No I mean in the base game xD. On alpha though we get a pit lord. But right now you can get random demon, and the portal build. It’s just harder to play and meshes with tier /best set.

Summon vilefiend/ inner demons/ netherportal is more demons galore. But worse numbers/no synergy with legendaries/tier sets.

Pit Lord is just going to be fun just to make melee players mad. Having Pit Lord butt all up in their face.

pit lord doesnt do any damage and it doesnt interact with tyrant to be extended, its just for show atm

You do realize that you’re obligated to get that glyph that gives your demon a weapon from your bag so you can give your pit lord Mannoroth’s, “Xu’tenash, Glaive of Ruin,” right!?

It’s gonna be epic!

Only because Nether Portal competes with Demonic Consumption, and DeCon is so bloody strong there really is no choice. Now that they are no longer mutually exclusive, Nether Portal suddenly becomes a lot more viable. Heck, with Shadowbolt being baseline stronger, and the new Doom talent scaling it with number of demons, it’s surprisingly possible that a Nether Portal + Sacrificed Souls build could pop up.
