Oddly aggressive.

I rarely make it out to Durotar these days to duel folks, I finally fixed my phasing issues from prepatch but with how little I play these days it just seems like a waste on top of a waste with all the required daily/weekly upkeep systems.

If I do a duel stream for entertainment or whatever and you around more then welcome to duel.

What is the recommended legendary for full tyrant build? I thought it would be Wilfred but I you said Synergy in the video? Is that right? Just getting into demo atm so not very knowledgeable about why that would be.

It’s Synergy usually. That is because Wilfred’s only gets a lot of value if you can get a consistently lower Tyrant CD, however if you are the prio target (warlocks usually are) and getting interrupting/stunned constantly it will be difficult to get use out it.

Synergy will be consistent damage buff for you even if you aren’t getting to cast often, and will lead to more damage for you when you are finally able to cast.

Kiwi hit the nail on the head, I also did say that the soul rot legendary is fantastic as well for Tyrant Build but synergy is the safe all around bet vs anything.

Wilfreds could only be “good” in a match where you know they will not touch you ever and you can pve without constant stops and even then you would have to save things outside of their normal “go time” to lock people down for your tyrant. In pvp that’s just too many “requirements” to making it useful.

Anyway, I mained a Warlock back in Vanilla. I just started up again.

I have a few questions please -

  1. Do you use Corruption at all? In PVE?
  2. I was looking at your action bar. What abilities for the Fel Guard do you leave on auto-cast?

For Demo in PvE, Corruption is pretty much dps-neutral. You can cast it if you want, but 99.9999% of us just don’t bother.

Thank you, I figured, it just seems like a wasted slot which doesn’t fit the overall class design at all.

What about Imp Implosion? Do you use that a lot? Seems like the build is built around Power Siphon, making that spell less important?

  1. I occasionally use it in 1v1 situation vs rogues never in PvE.
  2. He Auto casts Legion strike and Pursuit… and even that is me being lazy I really should manually control Pursuit and I control Fel storm/toss/etc
  3. Implosion is only used when trying to finish off a opponent at SUPER low hp… and I have nothing else. I.E enemy at 5% I have no demon bolts I have no time for anything else and no more cc chain on healer… imma basically throw a rock at him and hope for best to finish.

My 2nd class to 60 back in Vanilla was an Undead Warlock, back then it was send pet, cast dots and spam Shadowbolt. This newer version is so much fun, and I’m only level 37.

@Epic i saw Mgod was running the decimating bolt covenant talent. Said hes going to be using that as his main spec. Its 70% dmg increase on the bolt itself. Do you think its worth running?

He plays full bolt build.

If you are playing full bolt and going deep with succubus PTP its a option but I personally am not a fan of going that “All in”.

Hybrid gives me a all around toolkit vs everything and my conduits reflect that.

Ah okay yea he was running it with hybrid build atm but said hes going to be succy build on his main. Guess hes just working out the kinks.

He plays NF Full Tyrant build on Main and Full bolt on Alt

He doesn’t play Hybrid but obviously this could have changed I haven’t really paid much attention recently.

Yea he said hes done with NF because everyone just lines the pets and its to frustrating. Hes going necro on both locks now :love_you_gesture:
