The talent demonic resilience was not calculated correctly with the most recent patch update. It’s only granting the pet 25% damage reduction instead of 75%
Warlock
- Demonic Resilience now reduces the damage taken by your primary pet by an additional 67% in PvP combat.
Maybe their wording is off but 67% of the 15% of what it was is a 10.05% increase, so if it is showing 25% damage reduction, it is working as intended.
Edit: I still believe this should have been applied to PVE too.
15 TO 25% doesn’t change a thing. Pet still dies. Makes no sense it should at least be 50% DR. Pet has like 2 mil hp
They clearly worded it as “an additional” 67%
This is very deliberate wording. Usually the wording is “by 67%” if it was intended to be a 67% increase of the original 15%.
I think this is a bug.
First time reading blizzard tuning? Nothing is ever additive, always multiplicative.
67% of 15% is about a 10% increase, so 25% , working as intended.
Yeah it was Misworded but I’m with you on this. Usually when blizzard buffs something by a percentage it’s multiplicative not additive. BUT when you put the words “an additional” in front of a number you’re implying a plus sign aka adding it.
What’s going on at blizzard? Everything is low quality lately. They can’t even write a patch note right. Who’s writing them? An ai?!
Should the demon damage resilience be a baseline thing to the demons themselves.
Also is funny for blizzard to nerfed the actual demon damage reduction to give it to us as a 2 point talent nodes when it was baseline to the demons themselves.
They made the demon take more damage across the board and then made talent points for it. Really weird devs. Just like our baseline leech talent/port ability change up in DF.
