Same bug from the current TWW beta build.
Seems like zoning makes them go away, and sometimes just randomly in the same zone. They also do not persist at all with a log-out even for 1 second.

It’s true, I submitted a bug report. Very annoying.
Forgot to mention that Soulburn does not empower them. Not sure if that’s intended or yet another bug.

Yeah, I did too the first time it happened to me in the beta. Sometimes there I somehow end up with some regular green ones as well as the red ones in my bag simultaneously.
Luckily, there’s a whole 4 weeks before the full release 
Hopefully that’s a bug, who wants a demonic healthstone if it cannot be empowered?

Happening to me as well. I kept looking to see if there was some sort of expiration on them (which, for a capstone, no), but nope.
Here I was thinking it’d be useful for soloing.
