Demonic Gateway Macro No longer working

Hello this has been happening since the dual factions in instances has been allowed (that’s when I noticed). I have a macro for demonic gateway that is as follows:
/cast [nomod] Demonic Gateway
/cast [mod:alt,@cursor] Demonic Gateway

Ever since the latest patch, the game keeps saying “target too close” when I use the alt modifier option. It seems like the game does not like the alt modifier being used for this now. Before, it worked just fine. Has this happened to any other warlocks? Have they changed how demonic gateway interacts with macro modifiers?

@cursor works for me.

Are you sure your mouse cursor is not < 10 yards from you?

Change to generic mod (without the alt), and they using shift instead.

I think it may be due to the self cast changes.
