So, for those not familiar with the warlock class; the abilities we train our pets with come from librams. Or books. When purchasing these books, if the particular pet is currently active, the tool tip tells us if that spell is already known or not. However, if they are not, it does not. This is a problem because every time we need to train them we need to summon 3 pets back to back and burn 3 shards. Then scroll each page and check each book, because they are all out of order.
I’m just wondering it the development team is aware of this, and if there is any intention to remedy it in the future. I’m about done leveling, so it will not really affect me anymore. But for the sake of future warlocks playing. Please address this.

Why would they “remedy” or “address” what you’re describing? It’s not a bug.

They are, they designed it. They change it in later expansions.

or you could not train the ones you don’t use until later..the lower ranked are not required to be learned to get the next one unlike player skills. as far as the shards they are easy enough to farm..or you can use the stay command and run away from the pet to despawn and reclaim your shard that way

There’s an addon that will tell you which librams you’ve trained without having to summon all your demons.

ProTip: You don’t need to buy the lower level of demon abilities to buy the highest-level ones. So pick one demon, level that as you go, and ignore the others until you reach max level, and teach them the highest-level abilities.

You don’t have to juggle demons to know which book to buy. You can simply look at the level. If you bought every prior book, then you should know that the only new books are the ones at your level when you go to train. This is something players didn’t realize in 2005… so they used a mod to track the books for them. If you want to see if it’s still around with a new version, I think it was called grimoire keeper.

Yep, only get the max book for other demons.
I tend to run with Voidy until I can get machine gun Imp (maybe do a whipmistress Succubus instead) and only update Voidy’s talents. All the others can wait.
Another tip if its not too late for ya. Dont train the max rank of devour magic on felpup. Any rank can dispel the magic and while it does heal the pup for more it also makes him use alot more mana.
