I was on a lower character, and at level 19 I queued into pvp. When I got it, the alliance had a dh on their side also at level 19. How is this possible? Did the new party sync thing apply to queuing here too?
Quote from another thread.
What was the demon hunter’s name do you remember?
I just finished playing a Battleground match with a DH named Landrellais from Turalyon. Was piratically not kill able. Lvl 19 DH in PvP is bs and broken.
Relaxing Level Restrictions
We’ve also relaxed level restrictions, so lower-level players can queue for instanced content (such as Battlegrounds and dungeons) in their level range, and higher-level players can choose to join them by having their level scaled down. Please note that unlike Timewalking, when your level is scaled, you will temporarily lose access to abilities and powers (such as Azerite Traits and over-level spell, abilities, talents, and trinkets’ effects) with requirements that exceed your reduced level
Sup dude
nice one
Man, I’ve been doing this since tuesday and this is my first “hate” post gotta enjoy it when you can
It’s not aimed at you, its more at the untested and now flawed system they created.
I mean, specifically that one post by Puxang
Wondering how this is any different at all from exp off. I just don’t get how leveling synching isn’t a form of twinking. If you are 120 in a low level Bg, you wouldn’t earn exp, so how come exp: off players can’t join exp: on Bg’s?
This makes exactly 0 sense to me.
Party sync scales you down though where you have no gems or enchants and the 10-19 bracket makes your base ilvl 23. So you’re not as strong as a BiS twink and still killable if the other team knows how to play
Don’t you get all your abilities though?

That’s all you lose
Does it do the same for talents?
There was another post on the battleground forums that go into everything, but it unlocks talents at the normal rate. So you get a talent at 15, 30 etc. So in the 10-19 bracket im doing you only get the first row.
Okay I see, then the only problem would be the demon hunters and death knights, since they are not normally caught below level 55, and thus require tuning based on blizzards discretion.
Both are really killable, but like another thread said most don’t expect to face a DH or DK at low levels so they’re not sure what to do.
Doesn’t seem right to call you a twink.
Twank?
Twunk?
which sounds better?
Twanker definitely has a nicer ring to it
