Title says it all… I’d love for the Demon hunters’ wings to be visible at ALL times, not JUST when they are gliding. While we’re at it, I’d like to see Metamorphosis being a toggle ability, much like Druid forms, and the Shadow Priest’s Shadowform.

I had a similar idea for a glyph. In the same vein as the priest glyph that gives a random wing proc, a glyph that randomly gives us our demon wings for a second or two when using abilities. Would definitely add some fun. I hadn’t thought of the ability to turn demon form on/off. I think i’d be happy with some variation to its appearance.

I think double jump should be turned into a flight form while in flying-enabled areas. Druids already get an instant flight form, so it’s not like it’ll be a broken or unique ability.

In addition to making it visible at all times, it would be cool if they made the appearance of the wings a little better and more detailed.

This, this is what i need.
I’m trying to make my dh appear as nondemonic as possible, the only reason i picked dh was to create a night elf sentinel with the moonglaives.
Constantly having wings or spikes or meta going kinda kills it for me. I want glyphs to hide all the demonic stuff

The whole thing with a DH is that they are demons. Corrupted with fellblood just like Illidan. Hiding demonic features literally goes against what a DH is.

I get that, but at the same time we have the morons at blizz who thought it was a good idea to lock the most iconic night elf weapon in warcraft history behind the character archetype most night elves loathe and despise.
I wouldnt even bother with demon hunter if moonglaives were available for any other class to use.

I still wish the mage tower mog changed your wings to the same fire lazers colour you xmog too. Neon purple lazer glaives and neon purple wings would be sweet
Where the heck do our wings actually go when they are not out anyway? Some sort of dimensional pocket on our back or what? lol. They should always be out. And I like the idea of using them to fly too. That would be great Ginjuice! It’s not like they’re wearing heavy armor to weigh them down.

I am totally hook on the DH now. I try playing other alts and I’m a jump aholic to begin with but I keep trying to double jump/glide and it’s just not working. lol.

The reason Illidan’s wings are constantly out is because he absorbed the power from the skull of Guldan. You didn’t. Therefore you’re less of a demon than Illidan and don’t get your wings out at all times.
You can only tap into your metamorphosis.
The twisting nether? They are demon wings after all.
There should be an option for them to be out all the time. They stay out as long as you need them to when your gliding down from somewhere. You can literally glide down from Dalaran to the Broken Isles. That’s a long time for your wings to be out. Why can’t they ALWAYS be out.

Agreed about the black feathered wings, I have a character I am making as blind justice and that would be perfect for her
I’d like the forms as a glyph / toggle. I hate the look of Meta and would prefer to stay in elf form the entire time tbh.
I would love meta to have a capstone talent to change it to work like og voidform or og warlock meta where you build up a resource then you can bust into meta.
This way meta could actually be beefed up to have a noticeable damage increase which would give demon hunters some burst.
The more fury to keep up, the longer it lasts… will be balanced by being shutdown without being able to keep fury up
