Demon hunter transmogs

I love my demon hunter. Been my main since BFA but the class fantasy is struggling for me there just isn’t as many good options for customization and transmogs because the fel really doesn’t fit in with anything and I can’t make my mind up on what transmog to use and I can’t stand using warglaives on him because they sit so far up on the blood elf back it looks goofy and meta is also goofy its makes since for vengeance meta to be so big but not havac supposed to be nimble and very fast just seems a little odd to be so big and so fast

I would love to see more demon-form customizations. I have a backstory written for my DH and know which demon he fought for the ritual. Why isn’t the demon we fought reflected in our demon forms?

I agree it would make sense for Vengeance to be bigger than Havoc. I’ve always thought tanks should look like they are trying to draw attention to themselves, with DPS specs trying to keep a lower profile - it reflects threat management. I remember back in Cataclysm griping about the agi staff that made you grow in combat. I thought it made sense for Bears but not Hunters (back then hunters still equipped a melee weapon, mostly as stat stick). For Hunters, I thought it should make their pet grow. Players argued with me in forums about it. I think many players just like seeing their character be the biggest most attention-getting thing on the screen, but in my mind that’s the last thing a ranged dps should want to be.

I found some glaives that work for me and I’m happy with my mog. DHs are a distinctive look, but I have other alts when I want to look at something different.

If you transmog a back slot outside of a cape/cloak, it hides your weapons being sheathed on your back (don’t know if that is intended or not) and you only see them when you attack. You can get pretty small back accessories that you can’t really see unless you zoom way in, so that could be something to look at.

I agree with both though, definitely needs to be something to customise your demonform more. Afterall, if you play Havoc (I don’t play Vengeance alot), you spend ALOT of time in it.

Personally I don’t base my transmog on Fel, I just go with normal fire. I have a fire theme on my DH using gear that looks like flames, I have the glyph that makes immolation aura look like normal fire, I have the primal fire illusion etc.

My 2 wishes are they bring demonform customisation and more transmog items that look like the Aldrachi Warblades (going up the back of the arm), love those.

Recently I have started playing WoW again (febuary of this year) and I LOVE my Demon Hunter. I got her the Night Elf sentinel weapons as transmogrification items (which come under “swords” of all things, even though they’re labeled as glaives), and they do not show on her, normally. When she is in combat, they can be seen. When out of combat, they cannot.

I will take the Sentinel weapons, but i’d love to see them sheathed at all. They simply are not visible out of combat if they would be otherwise sheathed.

The only person limiting Demon Hunters to only using Fel mogs is you, OP. We get plenty of other color palettes.

Is it tho?..

Its kinda annoying (to me) to be rocking a sweet Red Themed Mog, or whatever…to then to Constantly Surrounded by a Green Flame, or when I use FR Green zip, Green Glaive…etc.etc. Really A lot of our Frequently used abilities and such just naturally make Fel Mogs fit Smoother with the class.

There are glyphs that solve both of the problems described. Glyph of Crackling Flames makes your immo aura look like normal fire! Glyph of the Chosen Glaive changes Throw Glaive to use your currently equipped mainhand weapon.

The Hunt is still green, sadly, but that’s probably the worst of it.

Thanks, Ill have to check out those Glyphs. Immo Aura is one of the Biggest issues for me. Still there is Fel Rush, Sigil of Flame.

I can generally over look these things for a little while before my OCD makes me change it back to a more suited Mog.

There’s a glyph for that as well:
Glyph of the Hunt

I go full non fel in my mogs. This is my pirate mog
