Demon Hunter Transfer to Remix->Live Game error

I leveled a DH to 80 on Legion Remix and transferred him to the live game.

He appeared in Org, at the front entrance, in a personal instance. It appears to be the point in Legion where you enter Grommosh Hold and see the cutscene where Vul’jin dies and passes on the title of Warchief.

Problem is Khadgar won’t appear at the entrance to the city to give the quest despite being able to see the quest marker on the mini map.

Not being able to get that quest, Saurfang won’t let you into the hold to trigger the cutscene. As a result you’re trapped in an instance of Org where no players exist and most portals are disabled.

I was able to start TWW on that char, but Org remains bugged. Visiting Chromie doesn’t give any options either.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m having this issue on my 80 DH as well. I got some basic steps from a GM (swap in and out of warmode to try to change the phase, join a cross-realm and leave to try to change the phase, and the usual combo of exit, rename Cache/WTF/Interface, then restart) and none of that has helped.

I’ve also tried a few suggestions I’ve seen elsewhere on the forums, but those too haven’t helped at all.

I’m at a complete loss myself.

I should have mentioned I tried those things as well, also to no effect.

Frustrating to be sure.

Also having this issue. GM steps didn’t help and they told me to basically just submit a bug report and hope it gets fixed.

found a workaround by partying up with a trial toon dh… did the starter dh stuff up to the point where you go to org or sw then party synced with it and was able to get the quest from khadgar on the remix toon i transferred over and fix it

I tried this, but I’m able to even add the trial character as a friend on the transferred 80, let alone party with it.

Weekly maintenance has come and gone, and still stuck. Has anyone heard anything new regarding a fix for this?
