With the recent change to Netherwalk node, it’s hard to pick it in PvP without losing A LOT of damage.
I know a lot of people HATE Demon hunters with complete Bias; that’s fine, I’m not asking for any damage buffs. I’m asking for some kind of quality of life change to defensives which are % RNG and unreliable.
This leaves you with Blur and Darkness. 2 defensives.
At this point most classes have a knockback ability, so being knocked out of Darkness and dying is a pretty usual occurence.
You cannot use anything while stunned, meaning you can die every stun. You can press Blur before the stun, but die anyway cause its just a 20% reduction if you are stunned.
Every other melee (and class in general) has more than 2 defensives.
Examples:
Ret > Divine protection, Bubble, Shield of Vengeance, Magic Bop, Normal Bop, Lay on Hands, Self healing
Warrior > Die by the Sword, Ignore pain on 10s cd, 30s instant heal for 100k (Impending Victory), Defensive stance (can be permanently on, no cd), Disarm, Rallying cry
Windwalker monk > Karma, Diffuse Magic, Port, Dampen Harm, Disarm, Fists of Fury parries all melee attacks, Fortifying brew
Feral druid > Bear form, Frenzied Regen, Survival insticts, Barkskin (usable in stun), numerous mini defensives during bear form such as Ironfur, even Thorns can deter people from hitting you.
On top of this, you cannot remove Roots from yourself, and because of what I wrote above, you cannot trinket offensively to do damage because you will die on the next stun.
