We dont need one. Were not diablo 3 DHs, we do not throw knives or daggers or use bows.

We do throw glaives though
As a means of a ranged attack when were forced to be unable to melee. D3 Dhs are professionals with throwing knifes(impaling knives) as an actual combat style.

While we are at it, can we also have DHs drench other races in Fel soup and finally let Gnomes be Demon Hunters? I need a diminutive race with wings and a double jump.

just make them a bayblade or fidget spinner spec that spins shooting laser beams and glavie storm and call it a day.

The problem is theres no real way to make a 3rd spec. Fel corrupts and damages you, not heals you. And we already melee dps/tank.
A second dps spec can be interesting or a debuff style support class. Maybe a tank/dps hybrid class that can be an offtank or a void dh spec that uses void spells instead of fel.
Im no class designer but you’d think that after almost a decade they could figure something out.

A ranged spec that focuses on short DoT’s (via thrown glaives boomeranging around) and channeled nukes via eye-beams would be fun.
A support spec that steals enemies powers and abilities and grants them to itself or its party members. Or debuffs enemy moral by shouting edgy things like “I am my scars!”
You joke but i would play that spec all day!
