Hey just wondering what level demon hunters are by the time you finish the starting zone and everything opens up. I want to quest through Zuldazar again, and finish the zandalari story line. I want to make sure that I can get through the story without outleveling the zone too much. I’m currently cobwebbed about that with my pandaren, who is questing through Kul turas. I just wish their was abs option to slow your experience gain or halt leveling. You level way too fast to be able to complete anything

You can lock XP. Doesnt matter anyways. Scaling is so bad that my level 20 I was leveling up soloed a TBC raid and one shot all the bosses. Your DH will plow throw everything low level like it is wet tissue paper.
I guess you do have a point. Even if I stop exp when I reach 50, all the gear and loot won’t improve since the area is capped at 50 anyways. They do need to improve the scaling but being over leveled does have its advantages. I want to level through zuldazar again instead of going on an old character because I do like doing an area when I’m the proper level. I also don’t want to have to take the time to figure out where my other character left off in the campaign. Same kinda goes for wanting to level through Argus at the proper level. Just that one alliance character is doing kul titans abd I’m pretty sure she’ll soon out level the area. My night elf death knight is level 58. I guess it would have been faster to do it on her but I wanted to play a paladin anyways. Though, I don’t like that I can’t start doing Argus till 45. And legion stuff caps at level 45. Gif they need to work on scaling. I feel halting exp only benefits you if you’re using Chromie time anyways
I think BfA goes up to lvl 50 and it will be very hard to gain xp after lvl 51. So you won’t out level it too much.
edit: You will have to lock exp to queue for the dungeons though.
Thanks so that is a reliever for my demon hunter and alliance pandaren. Is there any way of starting the Argus campaign before 45 or will khadgar only give you uniting the isles at lvl 45
I have tried to level through some of those old zones to try and relive the past. It just isnt possible anymore. You one shot 100% of everything there unless you lock HP. But if you lock HP then you get classified as a twink and are put into your own solo groups that can take 4 to 6 hours to get into instanced group content.
I really do not see how my Evoker is going to be able to get loremaster in TBC content now as so much of that stuff requires you to damage and not kill NPCs in quests. And many vanilla quests are like that too. Some in WooTLK are. Leveling an alt… zero fun. Blizzard just wants everyone to buy a boost and skip all the levels.
It is going to be a massive mess for the new race when DF launches though. No way to do old content anymore. Even with timewalking the content still does not scale up to your properly and you out level it way too fast.
