Will Demon Hunters ever get Flying or Dragon riding flying like Dracthyr?

Demon Hunters have wing’s just the same, it also make’s sense with the Lore
all Demon hunter’s etc especially Illidan can fly, it would also be massive to the Class fantasy it would be a grate fit imo

Demon Hunters were designed during the WoW era where BlizZard wanted a class that could be played on a tablet.

So the answer is no.

When Blizzard added Demon Hunters to the game, they removed Metamorphosis from Warlocks, claiming that Meta was an integral part of Demon Hunter fantasy and having two classes that can transform into a Demon would dilute said fantasy.

So my stance now is that winged flight is integral to the Class created for the Dragonflight Expansion, and that giving it to Demon Hunters would dilute Dracthyr Evoker fantasy.

Flight Form is a different issue.

And it’s why Mages don’t get to turn into a Birb like Medivh and Dadghar.

Honestly I’m sure it’ll happen eventually. There’s really no reason not to.

The raven form is from Atiesh. I also don’t see how flight form is much of an issue, considering shapeshifting is their whole thing.

I mean, if a Mage can turn an enemy into a sheep, I don’t see why a Mage can’t turn himself into a birb.

Ultimately, Mages don’t get Flight Form not because it’s some sort of ultimate superpower of Atiesh that nothing else could possibly replicate, but because Druids do it, and they don’t want to infringe on that.

So Demon Hunters won’t just beat their wings and fly for that same reason, because the Dragonflight Dragons gotta Dragon Fly.

Another non-argument. You should care about making the game more fun, rather than limiting what other players can do (especially when it doesn’t impact you whatsoever).

Illidan has a whole phase in his fight based around him flying…

Also he flies in the TBC opening.
