I am not a forum person but I thought I would get on here to express the want for more customization via the Demon Hunter and maybe we can get the ball rolling on this…
With the Dragonflight release of Evokers we can see the insane customization options that Blizzard has to offer and on top of that the Warlock pet customization later in the expansion. Once Evokers got a full fledged dynamic flight ability, I definitely got a little jealous.
Blizzard is there anyway that we can get some updated Demon Hunter customization, maybe be able to customize our demon forms similar to what you did with warlock pets or even more specific like tattoos, hair, or eye color? I always have wanted more wing glyph options as well, I think it would be cool to dash around with either white or black “angel like” wings or bird feathers, I think it would be pretty cool. Yea I know the angel wings are really lore related in anyway but it would still be cool.
LASTLY, can we get a demon dynamic flight form, similar to what the Evokers got? I think it would be really cool to fly around The War Within expansion with a Demon Dynamic flight form, after all we did get “jipped” in Legion with only one class mount, excluding the felsaber, just sayin!

These all are pretty cool. But the main reason blizz wont spend alot of time is how limited dhs are. They are only for 2 races. When warlock got a ton of new custimization options it came along with unlocking warlock on every race. When evokers got their flight it was already built in no work needed since soar was already a thing.
I only see dhs getting bits and pieces of custimization if any unless they open up to new races.

I would LOVE for DHs to get Drachthyr levels of customization. I have mixed feelings about the flight. If I were a D&D gamemaster presiding over WoW, all the different flyers (including mounts) would have different levels of speed and maneuverability that made sense for their model/lore. A peregrine is not a hummingbird is not an albatross. Each has strengths and weaknesses making it unique.
The ability to have withdrawn wings out all the time would be a nice change, even allow it to hide your glaives similar to back mogs so the people who dislike the chunkiness have an option. Unfortunately it would require a whole new animation for triggering glide since it would require the expansion of the wings rather than the current appearing out of nowhere.
I’d rather not get soar as a dh, maybe allow it so if you dismount you can build momentum as your crash down to the earth (with its own unique benefits), but superman flight would look odd imo
