If you have no soul shards and then summon demonic tyrant granting you 3 succulent soul shards is your next hand of Gul’Dan :

  1. +60% and the effect of the other two succulent soul shards are wasted, or
  2. +180%, or
  3. +60% and the next two hands are +60% as well?

This is confusing to me and seems rather important…

Succulents Souls aren’t actually tied to the Soul Stones, it’s a separate buff. So spending 3 Shards on HOG will only consume one instance of the Succulent Soul buff (it’s not 1:1 with soul shards spent).

In your scenario, it is option 3. Your next 3 HOG’s will be buffed by 60%.
