So obviously the double legendary synergy is bananas. Are you all running Pleasure through Pain for the faster shadowbolts / bigger demonbolts, or do you miss out on too much control without spell lock and felguard stun?
I’ve been using the succubus and it’s working, but I feel so much more susceptible to getting zugged and peeling is tough without the stun. Seduce is nice but the fear DR isn’t.
How are you guys playing it?
I’ve run both in battlegrounds, and they both work well.
I also ran the Grimoire: Felguard for the added control, but I found I don’t really need it.
Right now I am staying with the succubus and pleasure through pain because the faster HoGs and Bolts feel better to me, and the 15% damage bonus is a nice bonus.
I even went for the extra 12% damage bonus by using “Plaguey’s Preemptive Strike” from the first row covenant, and then did a switch target, cast dogs, and then Demonbolt, for a couple thousand more damage per bolt, but I switched back, because the shield from “Oozes frictionless coatiing” made me feel tankier, and the Demonbolt damage was already sufficient.
But these are my opinions. Anyone else feel free to chime in.
I’ve been playing both “full bolt build” and “hybrid build.”. They both seem successful. I’ve found myself gravitating a bit more toward Succubus bolt build just because I really like using seduce to set up a kill from enemies pillaring
