Delves will replace raiding, and we are to blame

If Delves becomes the main progression system in WoW, it because of “us”. This community has reached the point where organized group play is not worth the toxic annoyances it provides.

Blizzard can help the issue by reintroducing personal loot as a default loot type. Only guild level activities can change this type. This will eliminate the “I’m needing on everything crowd cause I don’t want to know my gear… nor care”.

I notice that players in LFR and normals have increased levels of complete failure to understand or perform the bare minimum of mechanics. Worm boss… Portal boss… Etc etc… its just … Painful to be a part of. These players are easy to see right away…

However this leads me into the (not new) issue of plain foolish requirements to enter a pug/guild group. Did you clear heroic? No, no normal entry for you.

So now… for raiding and m+… people like me have a option now. I’m aware of mechanics, understand my roles, play the game “well”. And because of the 3 points above… and more, I have a choice now to enjoy content with a good gear outcome.

It’s not Blizzard’s fault that raiding and M+'s are in a bad place cause Delves are here.

It’s “our” fault.

Yea, remove LFR because delves are a better option for gearing.

Remove LFR because LFR. It’s never been good and anyone who argues otherwise is coping

Fully agree.

LFR is nice to experience the story easily if you’re not in a raid guild. I like where things are at.

Delves are not replacing anything. I’ve reached the point on two characters where they aren’t even worth doing at all

will not help out the high ilvl players will still get the loot and sell it or disenchant it

this will kill gearing progression much faster if the team is good why should they be punished

It’s world content, not progression end game content. Let’s not get dramatic.

I dunno, I can see M+ dying out maybe, but I think raiding will always be a thing.

I can totally see the future of WoW being raids and delves, though.

Let me ask you this: If you could get WoW back up to 12 million or more players and it required dumbing the game down and making it easy for most would you?

It’s not just an LFR problem anymore…

Normals, m+ are in the same boat.

I mean. I’d quit most likely. So that doesnt feel like a fair question.

Also. Dumbing it down wouldnt bring the playerbase up to 12m anyways.

It’s a progression pillar.

This is a Blizzard statement, not mine.

with the 616 from the vault and that they go to 626 i dont see that as endgame
might be a good way to get into m+ 4 or 5 to help out or normal or a few wings in heroic

Its a progression pillar with a built in stopping point to be less than m+ and raiding.

Also a Blizzard statement.

I like raiding. Not a big fan of delves. There are others like me.

Raiding will be fine.

How is M+ for guilds? Are they failing to fill slots and have to PuG and can’t find people?

Because, if not, then the system is fine. I think a lot of M+ players felt it was too easy and non skilled people “lived” in M+. Now they have delves and the bar is higher, so they wean out faster in M+.

It weaned me out, haha. But the reality is probably that there was a missing level of content between heroics and M+, and that’s what delves are.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: People should not be able to make a group with requirements beyond 1) they have achieved and 2) the content they are making the group for.

They know how to do this. In Remix you could not ask for an item level higher than what you had.

Story mode raids exist for that now, and for raid its easier to clear a pug normal than it is to suffer through the single digit IQs of the typical LFR player
