Delves - Thoughts on the sporebit changes?

So the sporebits have received a redesign, they are now stationary and if you stay within their radius they start to grow a few times, prime, and explode.

now i gotta drag the mobs to them

I liked how they were, once I figured out the trick to them.

Aggro them, kite them into a group of mobs, enjoy the explosion. If lucky, Brann gets hit too.

Why did they change it?! Now I have to some how drag a bunch of caster mobs in to the circle. Instead of just bringing to circle to the mobs.

People complained about it lol, sadly Blizzard caved.

It’s a good change for the classes that have trouble controlling mob and/or spore positioning like my afflock. But most classes didn’t seem to have trouble, and the current way is more annoying. Especially if you’re running Tank Brann, which seems to be when you’d need the Spores the most.

I have to say that tank Brann plus me as holy for the one delve I did was a pretty beastly combo. Haven’t tried the spore bits, but I’m pretty sure the change won’t bother me much, I’ll just adjust.

I watched SoulsoBreezy streaming yesterday and he was laughing in frustration as tank Brann kept pulling mobs out of the spores.

people didnt know how to make them 1 shot mobs so they had to change it for them

Or maybe they didn’t want people to do it this way anymore. It was a pretty cheesy way to kill everything, however it was somewhat fun and we know how well fun things workout.

its was on the PTR they where told how easy it was

Gotta try him out again as healer, Tuesday he wasn’t working for me so I just went back to my Rogue. :sweat_smile:

You no longer need a special fishing rod/ potions in underwater delves. They just give you a “diving suit” now.

You no longer have to deal with the “candle” mechanic. You just … go through the Delve like normal.

You take the good with the bad, I guess. :wink:

Hold up. They removed mechanics that actually made Delves different and interesting? I liked the totem and candle mechanic. I could do it “hard mode” on melee, never dropping them.

I hope they added some new interesting ones. I don’t want just mini dungeons.

So let’s just say it kinda made some bosses trivial with Gorefiends grasp. It is a fair change that shouldn’t turn them into the win mechanic rather than my damage.

It’s so much worse now lol

that idiot drags mobs ontop of me when I am feigned and just keeps re-aggroing everything

Which story did you do for KR? If it was yesterday, that one not meant to have one, same with WW.

From what I was told on PTR they overhauled it instead of removing the candles/totems.

Yeah it was yesterday. And because the candle dynamic was so easy to ignore, it was just busywork, I simply assumed they removed it.
