I completed the quest, Delves: Khaz Algar Research today and after logging in later it was available again.

I just noticed the same thing. Finished it first thing after reset today, and just now logged out and back in and it was back.

Is this a bug, or a daily quest as part of the Delve bonus event?
I’m leaning towards bug, but also don’t want to miss out on rewards if it’s not…
It’s also popped up (again) for multiple guildmates.
Yea, me too. Not that you get much from it, but might as well run it again, I still have to complete the 5 delves one.
Same here. I completed it earlier, got my reward and I was able to grab it a second time.
You get 15 carved. Which is decent chunk towards getting the 90 needed to trade in for 15 runed… so you could exploit the system to get basically free crests for upgrades.
I mean thats…a ton of delves for very little. lol.
I never said it was efficient lol but if you are a delver you can do Tier 8s in 15 minutes or less so 45 minutes for 15 carved. But that wouldn’t be how Blizzard would see it. They’ll see it as an exploit abuse and I’m sure this isn’t meant to be a repeatable quest since its a meta quest.
I picked the quest up again because it was available and I still had keys left. I’m not going to pick it up 100 times. I think they can tell the difference between an exploit and like, accepting a quest.

Same here. Got up early this morning and did it, got on my alt to fiddle with warbank and then switched back to main and noticed it was back up. Not sure if it’s a daily now or what since I did it today before reset.

I’ve done it three times now. I don’t know if it’s a feature of delve week or if it’s just a bug… don’t ban me blizzard.

They can see how many times you turn it in though. Thor was a developer at Blizzard talked about the old mantra exploit early exploit often and said that the way they did punishments for exploiting a bug was on a bell curve. If you did it once or twice maybe three times, no big deal. If you did it 5-10 times where you are now up the curve or at the top of the curve that’s where they started taking action.
Moral of the story, don’t turn it in more than once if you don’t want to run the risk of getting in trouble. I was away for a few hours and it showed up a 2nd time today marking 3 times in two days it’s showed back up and that doesn’t seem intentional.
Bugged… and no one should be tempted to repeat it for extra Pinnacle Caches (which won’t exceed the Coffer Key or Veteran gear cap).
We also had that happen on Beta with the Titan Disc Weekly and other quests in the past… thinking of this as a feature of the Delve Weekly is naive and won’t protect you from Blizzard’s actions if you go all-in.

After completing it a 3rd time just now, it is no longer offered to me even after relog. I did not get any keys after the 1st time, but I did get Kej, Resonance Crystals, and gold.
