Delves: Disconnected on exiting Pacifist Rig

It is not happening every time, but in 3 consecutive delves I got disconnected at least once when the Pacifist Rig ends. Needs investigation.

Happened to me once. I also noticed we can’t exit them any longer.

Was this also the case for you?

DC on exiting or entering ‘vehicles’ has been a bug for AGES. It’s just hard to recreate as often it works perfectly until it doesn’t.

Twice on the last boss, t11 d9. Turned off all my addons and I still Dc’d exiting the rig. They need to fix that.

Just encountered this bug twice today for the first time since 11.1 release.

Also, maybe I am misremembering, but in the past when you exited the rig your toon was where the rig was when you exited? Seems like since they fixed the rig in a recent patch I am getting and alter-time effect to where when I get booted from the rig I am back at where I entered the rig.

I have died a couple of time because I would get tossed into the rig just as a fire pool or whatnot would appear under me and the rig expired I would get tossed right back onto the location.

You can exit them. There are 2 really small icons above-left of the rig interface. Click the one on the right and you will exit. I have a feeling these were to be on the interface.

I have also been experiencing this since the Tuesday change where it leaves you “remote controlling” the Rig. It seems to mostly happen when you snap back from far away. I guess the game’s anticheat is triggering overzealously again.

This has also happened to me sporadically. It’s happened twice today and just now in tier 8 delve whilst exiting the rig, triggering my google search on the issue and finding this.

same this happens to me from time to time and always causes a death no matter how fast i get back in. It does seem to be happening more and more often as well.

This happened to me about three times in the last delve, two of those times being on the final boss. I had the boss down to nothing, was seconds away from victory, then d/c’d when the pacifist rig came to an end. I logged back in dead. That ended my run.

The death even bypasses mechanics that prevent lethal damage. The anti-cheat is cheating to kill you.

Also experiencing this, it’s frustrating that picking the mech has become a gamble on my character dying needlessly during an otherwise deathless run.

  1. random disconnects when entering and exiting the rig
  2. can’t exit rig even with the new interface - this is really annoying on certain delves where your body can be in lethal aoe when the rig ends (why change this from the previous where you exit where the rig is?)

This has about a 1 in 5 chance of happening for me per delve I run. If I disconnect at all while something is still alive, I end up dying and I have to make a run back. I kind of understand what they’re doing with the new rig, because you can’t be targeted or harmed while in it, but this doesn’t feel like the correct solution if you end up dying anyways because of a bug.

It certainly feels like “here’s this marvelous tool to help you get stuff done in delves, don’t use it, kthxbuhbye!”.

So I personally don’t. But the D/Cs when being ejected from the Mr. DELVER robot sucks, and you can’t progress in that particular delve without it.

This bug is also happening to me all the time. It would be great to get a response from Blizzard about this issue.
