Ahh … that could explain the issue we had last night. A group of us went into the candle delve … initially I was picking up and putting down the candle, but then someone else picked it up and stated they couldn’t find any way to put it down. Then someone else picked up another, moved it a bit, could put it down, but the first person, still holding the original candle, when they ran onto the second candle on the floor, still had the original candle … it did not swallow up the larger candle. We ended up, at some points, with two people having to carry two candles of different sizes.
Perhaps a UI issue, apart from the fact that, at the point where there was just the one person with the candle running over the larger one on the floor, they didn’t merge.
Do you see the button near your objectives frame or is it not visible to you? I believe I’ve heard of other people having addon conflicts that hide this button. Or are you clicking the button and nothing happens?

Make a single macro and put on an action bar:
/cancelaura Enchanted Candle
/cancelaura Air Totem

I find that where my buffs are showing on the screen, there is one that shows up when you are carrying the candle. You should just be able to right-click it off to drop the candle.
