Kept myself to 7s for the first week, especially with the wild shifts in balance last week on then. Aug felt… ok? But weird in the downtime between empowered spells. Dev felt a lot smoother.
Will use the gear from last week, another clear of Normal, and the vault to throw myself into 8s.
I dunno where you hear that but they are either talking before the erratic nerf/buffs or are lying to you. If you want to just stand and heal yourself while you get hammered for 500k-3mil a pop while Brann stands there doing about as much damage as a battle pet then sure, easy.
T8 was brutal but I cleared two as a 588 ilvl pvper
Gave Pres a shot sometime last week…realized quickly its a Nope.
Going to give Aug a shot solo later, but Honestly ill just stick with my group. We 5 man it, Healer/Tank 3dps…Its quick and painless.

Devastation seems fine in Delves. Though Brann cannot hold aggro at all if I cast ANYTHING. Even an azure strike means I he loses aggro to me.
Annoying issue with Devoker in Delves - some of the modifiers make it difficult to use Deep Breath without spawning a bunch of enemies or complicating things.
Nothing made me happier than getting a heroic fate weaver in my vault and being done with delves.
When you guys run Aug, do you have bran as a DPS? curiuos howw thats like.
Unless y’all are trying to sweat just play DPS with healer brann and learn to roll healing potion hots when you need to face tank.
Then just hover kite stuff otherwise. Run sleep walk to skip a lot of trash.
I knock out t8 in 10min or less casually watching videos as devoker. I noticed healer specs make mobs do way too much damage to be worth it
Ive been doing 8s solo. Some are easier than others and going slow helps but overall evoker can do t8s just fine
Soloing t8s as dev. Have to kite some pulls but overall pretty easy tbh.

i resubbed last week, brann not really all that leveled 10-15, devastation. i was able to solo a couple 8’s (fungal and the one with all the shadow priests) by ilvl 563 ish currently 585 and can solo half of them at least. I do have decent endgame experience but not on evoker so ymmv but i would say that around ilvl 595 with a well leveled brann most of the delves should be soloable by players of any skill level.
Also did this without pots, elixers embellishments etc, so you could make it easier that way too.
managed to solo my first 11 today with an awful lot of luring enemies out with sleepwalk and pulling 1-2 mobs at a time. It was the underwater one that ends in the fungal boss, so the damage was pretty easy to deal with.
Still had to be super careful with everything leading up to it, though. died once to a melee crit dealing over half my HP, and once due to a lag spike that decided i was standing in a mushroom during the boss.
Definitely gonna wait until i get my ilvl up before doing any more. Didn’t get anything extra at the end, so other than the achieve and ‘bragging rights,’ it was a pretty big time-waster.
It is entirely possible to clear the highest difficulty delves as solo devastation evoker. Though you’d have to use everything in your kit to its fullest potential.
I’ve found dev evoker to be safer but squishier than my ret paladin. If I’m using my CC, benefitting from the slow effect on mass disintegrates, plus or minus Renewing Blaze, I usually feel less threatened pack-per-pack. Now if things go horribly wrong, my ret can recover (Divine Shield go brrr) whereas I eat dirt on the evoker. T7s/T8s, haven’t felt the need to push higher.
My monk (as WW) has an easier time in T8+ than my evoker (as Dev), but not by much. Both consistently solo them, usually with no deaths. Similar gear on both, ilvl 605-606 prior to today’s vault.
Just have to be mildly cautious and use stops regularly. Having a level-45 Brann healing is huge. Level up that big bearded boy.
You can face tank almost everything with just brann potions. Just don’t try to fight and tank 5 mobs at a time
