No one cares. Not trying to be rude, but no one cares.
They are mind numbing, the sole reason people are doing them is purely for the vault pulls.
I mean you did care enough to comment so there’s that.
And I’m glad, really I am - But I care.
I haven’t played in a while (read: years), so I’ve been enjoying doing delves due to the lack of “go go go” or having to adhere to a particular schedule. These are things I used to do, however.
I have the “Hand of A’dal” title from the Burning Crusade. I got the achievement in Mogu’shan Vaults before they nerfed it. Etc. I’ve been around the block and I don’t feel like doing that anymore.
The measuring contest with the likes of this Vhiana person is gross. Maybe they’re trolling, or maybe they’re a jerk. I don’t know. I am far and away the most skilled tank out of anyone I have ever played with since… what, 2007? I don’t want to do that anymore on the regular, that’s all. I don’t want to do three days of weekly raids. I don’t want to have a scheduled time to run M+. I want to have fun, and the occasions that I do mythics or raiding, delves are allowing me to have decent enough gear to not lag too far behind.
Because let’s face it: M+ and raiding isn’t about skill so much as it is about a gear check. A monkey can get out of fire and press cooldowns. There are even addons that tell you the rotation you should be doing in real time. The game is not hard–at all. It never was. It was always a gear check, that’s it.
Well considering how difficult it is to get into raids and mythic 0’s there really is no other options. Finding a guild is impossible these days.
The same could be said about you
Kind of proving my point with your tit-for-tat spat.
Raid or die back then was pretty… sucky.
Even tho I started out in TBC, WoD really sticks out as a sore thumb for me when it came to raid or die… I don’t miss those days at all.
mmmmmm…no idiots screaming profanities in the chat box.
Thank you blizzard for delves and follower dungeons!!
of course.
Nose-in-Rump disease is an epidemic on this forum. Cant just play their own game and be happy…perpetually OBSESSING themselves awake at night about something someone else can get.
seems to be a diagnosable disorder of some sort.
Thank you so much.
And homies act like them not doing M+ is some loss to the game mode. If this is the average Delve player’s attitude then I’m glad they have a game mode they can stay in. Give it better than Mythic gear, who cares? At least M+ will be rid of the actual toxic people within it.
And see, there you go.
You dont want my sort in your M+ any way…If Im healing for you I’ll bail at the slightest hint of annoyance. You dont need that kind of attitude in your group, so I really cant figure out why M+ and raider sorts are perpetually whining in here about our having another path to gear in. Literally makes no common sense whatsoever.
One thing the WoW community has taught me.
Give a player options and it’ll still not be good enough for the older fans. Seen how that nonsense started with LFR.
Yes, keep up the positivity and the pro-Delve support. I kinda agree with somebody though when they said the devs have no backbone. If they whine loud enough, I am afraid they are gonna get the loot nerfed. Instead of looking at what is really right or wrong to do - I’m afraid they’ll just listen to the squeakiest wheel so that let be us.
We need more threads like these that encourage them and less crying that other people got something you don’t think they should have. Video games are supposed to be fun, and they were challenging enough when I was undergeared for them at their appropriate level- and I haven’t done all the extra levels yet even.
The game would have literally died without delves I think, because there isn’t enough elitists or hyper competitive people really to keep the game afloat compared to people who just want a more chill and relax (but sometimes reasonably challenging) MMORPG experience. Casuals literally support the elitists to do what they want to do, having no good content for us hurts the entire game.
It’s nice to see the game changing and iterating based on player demand and the changing social ecosystem in WoW. WoW needs to change and adapt just like any other software or it’ll die out and be inferior or inadequate for the player. The rewards are fine compared to the difficulty it seems so far as the players that have cleared Zekvir or T8’s seems around what it is for M+ as well or raiding.
I think people vastly overestimate how many people clear T8 and above or want to compared to other avenues. T8 can still destroy you if you don’t pay attention and use your abilities, but of course some specs will have it easier that are better at solo’ing for example.
Unfortunately in this game, this… RPG, apparently… less options are preferred because then it means people have to engage in content less. We can’t even have rewarding world content. As soon as I hit, like, +12 keys in DF my only real options at any kind of character progression were to continue to do keys or to raid.
Yea 8s are a joke at that ilvl on my pally and Druid, even my BM hunter just did 4+ 8s at 570 and did fine what I meant though was the big end game delve boss that’s currently almost impossible to do this 613 weekly gear is more so for people to kill that eventually.
I think the toxic m+ community is rotting. The people who actually enjoy it will be fine.
Yeah the ones that actually do it to push keys well above +10 will continue to and rank on that leaderboard. All the people that only did it for rewards likely stop farming it when they get their gear where they need it for whatever.
Somebody in another similar topic posted that higher up mythic m+ players are more chill and nice ppl. For which i agreed.
They know that high keys aren’t mop remix, and will take some trial and error, especially in the begining of a season.
