Do you have any idea how long it takes to run 8 dungeons a day?
If you assume you are cooking in that dungeon right, just assuming you guys are rocking it and bang it out in 20min.
Thats over 2.5 hours a day, and close to 19 hours a week of doing JUST dungeons not counting the time and effort to get a group together which for some takes a long time, and assuming you dont have a group fall apart, and the time needed to get items to buff yourself to run.
Even if you ran that man, as an individual. that is 112 items dropped. per week, i dont know where you are getting this 336 individual chances at loot. Each mythic drops 2 items at the end of it. So 8 dungeons a day, is 2 items per dungeons so 16 items each day x 7 = 112
Now assuming perfect averages, that 112 items is split across 5 people, and ASSUMING every one gets equal items. thats 22 items each.
So to get 22 items from M+ you would need to spend almost 19 horus in dugenosn to get that.
I spend about 2 hours spread across the entire week, and get 8 champ items garunteed to drop for me, and easily 1 heroic item and the vault at the end of the week.
So no, there is no world in which mythic 1-6 comes even close to how easy and fast it is to gear in delves

Im an m+ player. I play at points where i receive no rewards. You dont see me out here begging for things i have no use for.
Id youre a solo player and youre killing your overworld mobs in 3-4 globals at 580 ilvl, what is 616 gear going to do for you? Absolutely nothing.
Youve got the gear you need to complete the content you do. Why do you need more if its not going to change anything and youre not going to take on greater difficulties in the game?
Even at 580 you can upgrade an entire tier level above what you get to trivialize the trivial content even more.

So why are the solo players needing gear beyond the content they do?
If you wanr nice things, like i said we can add mounts and appearances and titles and achievements to delves. Im not taking away your rewards, im simply changing them to be more inline
TBH he is not that bad. I had him pop up and he was soloable on a T8 with 2 people, and the one person died right off the bat. you just gotta be fast with his AOE fear, you can JUST barely get out of it.
No, you can easily get 8 keys a week i have done it twice now.
You group up for echos, and you can easily get over 150 fragments when you turn in 5 echos and do it in a 5 man group of DPS.
I dont deny that you can do M+ infinitely thats one of its strong points.
Thats not what im bringing up as the issue, the issue im bringing up is how little effort delves are compared to M+
If anything im championing Mythics to be giving out better rewards for their efforts over nerfing Delves.

People claiming they only gets trinket i have doubt about it. I got a pair if pants 610 with haste and vers on it, i did not equip it but im waiting for my vault to see if i got tier pants from it, them i will catalyst those pants for tier piece and upgrade those.
The thing is you’re not doing 10 min runs for Heroic item level gear with Delves.
First, you need to go around doing world content to get the keys, then you are limited by them for loot. What you are getting is normal item level gear with the heroic item level being far more limited. The trinkets are also far worse than even the M+ trinkets.
With M+ you spend less time overall than getting keys and running the Delve for each run, and you can farm it endlessly unlike with Delves. The rewards are also in the Mythic track with M+ while Delves are stuck at Heroic.
Delves are great at getting a character ready for M+/raiding but those two are still better overall for anyone serious about getting geared.
As i have been saying, you get way more then 4 items a week
You can easily get 8 champ items, 1 heroic from a map, and 1 from the vault, but its been unconfirmed if maps are once a week or just a rare drop.
If the best defense you have is just being snide then i suppose this is the end of the discussion between us, i would have hopes it had been better.

The only way you can get a Myrhic tract item is by doing a 10+ which right now is really nuts to do because tuning is all sorts of wack at the moment.
Not at all. Theres still your weeklies and world bosses and heroic dungeons and crafting and LFR. Theres tons of solo progression. And everything can still be upgraded.
To kill solo progression would mean youre stuck at 550 at level 80 without getting into premade content and thats not the case.
I dont understand why you need “more” when youre already one shotting things. If things are dying in a few globals…“more” isnt going to change that. Its…pointless… again, from level 80 forward you can progress anywhere from 500 to roughly 600 ilvl solo.
Exactly. For casual players delves are a good way to enjoy an adventure while also progressing a bit gear wise etc. But the best gears are still in mythics and raids especially the trinkets. Delvers only gets a chance for the BiS trinkets once a week on their vault if they do not do mythic dungeons or raid. This is a very very low chance compared to running the dungeons itself for the trinkets and other BiS gears.
No, you don’t. You get up to probably a maximum of five a week, four from weekly quests and another from collecting Key Fragments, and maybe the sixth if the key fragment WQ’s overlap.
Again, pales in comparison to the gear/crest farm that is M+. It’s absolutely no contest that M+ is still the gear farm of choice.
