Delves are now unfun

I have been able to solo them sucessfully, lets get that out of the way, yet the contrived effort required to solo them just feels unfun. The “nerfs” today as well don’t seem like nerfs at all, in fact it seems like they instead buffed them, given spam cast mobs are still trucking for 1.7 mil per cast. Followed by melee’s are hitting for 1 mil per hit, its again not fun.

All of these “nerfs” have had the opposing effect of buffing everything into oblivion, given even common mobs in groups are now raid bosses honestly. In all honestly these changes feel like a direct attack against gearing over actually trying to tune the delves properly. Delves honestly should feel like what they did before all of these “hotfixes” in groups, challenging, but not feeling like your doing a super version of the mage tower.

I am not touching delves personally until some better tuning is done, because this just ain’t it. Mobs hitting for 1 mil+ for basic casts or attacks is not okay blizzard.

LOL yeah you go right ahead and try to do a delve post hotfix and tell me how well you can do. I PROMISE you will be creamed in upper delves rapidly with the tuning they have right now.

I did, and aside from a new mob i not seen before and was a little rougher then others. It felt fine.

Did my 4 Bountiful Tier 8 delves after the hotfixes, didn’t really notice much of a difference as an Ele Sham. The challenge is there and it’s quite fun in my opinion.

They don’t need to nerf it much further than the 20% unannounced nerf they just did, and if you think so then it’s most likely just a skill issue.

There was litterally tuning today on delves to make them harder on groups

already did and I killed some of the new bosses too lol
also you are talking t8 while I have cleared t11 which is harder than any t8

so yup. this is a skill issue. pretty sure druid has a million spells and things to cheese delves too. like roots.

It’s also a gear-check for the most part.

Folks shouldn’t be trying delves they aren’t geared for, or they’ll be mincemeat.

A lot of folks think they can somehow force their will and beat these at ~570 ilvl when they’re kinda made for 600+

Sure, skill issue when a basic melee hits for 1.3-1.7 million damage per hit, followed by casts hitting for 1.7 mil per hit when I only have one interrupt, a blind, and one stun to stop it from chaining.

I again am very hard pressed to believe a lot of players on here, in which it seems to primarily boil down to some classes and specs have an easier time in delves, while others struggle hard due to not having toolkits to deal with the delve properly.

Are you trying to pull big with a DPS Brann? The casts and melees are easy to deal with if it’s pack by pack with Healer Branns potions.

Yeah, I agree here. People can join a group or increase their item level if they can’t solo.

I’ve only tried to solo level 8 bountiful, but that’s as far as I need to go for great gear, so I’m happy.

I do it pack by pack with healer Brann, I definitely am not mass pulling as that is definitely a recipe for disaster.

you should recall the patch notes. these are documented changes.

yes actually. on t11 I basically just avoid all hits. let brann take aggro. should be easier as a druid since you have ranged spells.

they were never fun and just increasingly get worse the higher you go, so much for this mode that was suposed to be for the neglected casual playbase.

I’m not a druid… I’m a paladin… anywho I think they pushed a hotfix, it’s not slamming hard anymore currently, so I’ve so far been successful in this run.

I beat the run, they definitely hotfixed it since I made my post given the bulk of the mobs were doing a reasonable amount of damage again.

Vid it then, then again you have an unkillable pet earth elemental. Do it on a non-pet class, do it on an spriest. Reminder for people that say ‘skill issue’ it’s a negative connotation, and IMO trolling.

I would LOVE to look ar you profile and see what gear you are rocking, but, strangely, I can’t. hmmm. Also your profile says Draenei bit the image is of what I assume to be an earthen.

Its most likely a skill issue since others have done it. If someone can’t beat a rare mob in the world, its a skill issue. Same applies to T8 which is easy enough for any spec especially with gear up. Sorry if you don’t like it.

You know it’s only up for a minute every 5 minutes right? And it definitely is killable, especially at 8 or higher.

Utility plays a big part in Delves and Shamans have plenty of it. Knockbacks, stuns and slows.

Currently I’m 602 BUT I’ve been doing Tier 8 since day one after my M0s, where I was sitting at 592 which was below the recommended. You do know that racials play practically 0 part in your success of delves, so what does my current race have anything to do with it? lol

Is it really that hard for people to believe that them failing Tier 8 is a skill issue and not a tuning issue? Play around your kit and Brann better.
