that’s blizzard aim, to keep people engaging this content, most people i know ended last season with full hero gear but not above 619, they even had a lot of gilded from the bountys but most delvers dont really chase the highest item lvl possible, only blizzard know their numbers but there must be a solid reason for them to do it this way this time.
Good, I have a lot of characters I have to run through delves.
Yeah I just don’t know how they should be balanced. The old t11s were a challenge, but it would have been annoying if you were essentially expected to do a few of them per week. I probably averaged about one a week, and that’s across 8 chars. Now they’re just stuff to grind out.
Were blood dk, delves are loot piñata for us.
Otherwise season 1 for general players was seen as a bit too hard with a big drop in participation. So this one’s a bit easier (in M+ and Delves for sure not sure about raid).
Generally if you didn’t find S1 a challenge then you’ll find this season pretty easy.
Just beat an 8 in party of two both around 613 ilvl. Not sure that’s intended.
But there’s 39 ilvls of difference between S1 and S2. 619 in S1 is the equivalent of 658 in S2. The fact people are doing content that should be for around 655 at 625 like it’s nothing means they’ve pitched the bar pretty dang low.
Like to be clear, I’m glad the crests and the difficulty curve was smoothed a bit cuz the jump between 8 and the ones above it were kinda huge before
But they just went a biiiiit to far (as usual, this is blizz)
nerf them more they are already a slog
Last season people did stuff like immortal spelunker first week and that was aimed at mythic geared players, of course people will find it pretty easy when they know exactly what they are doing, but only blizzard know their numbers and i can just assume that this time the difficulty it’s aimed at certain demography of players.
I just don’t get why solo content has to be significantly easier than group content that offers the same reward. Rewards should be at least somewhat comparable to difficulty.
There are players out in world content with 441 level gear. Lots of them. I think the goal is to get them into delves without feeling overwhelmed. I imagine that once those players are better geared and have some delving practice, T11s will magically get buffed.
Shh, don’t let Blizzard know this.
Yeah this was the main complain when mythic+ offered good gear outside raids, at the end of the day blizzard will go with whatever they have in mind and that is not always the most fair option from the players perspective.
If delves are “too easy” for you, then perhaps you should move onto more challenging content, and/or don’t do them at all.
Just say you want them to put some sort of hard mode that adds a X% modifier to HP and damage like M+. Stop trying to make everything need to be hard for everyone else because you don’t feel challenged enough.
I liked the difficultly in S1, the challenge felt right for the first half of the season. I was able to do up to a T10 today without dying, pretty sure T11 won’t be much of a challenge either. Kind of disappointing, the mini bosses are lol difficulty now.
I love tank Brann, but maybe it’s his strength that make them kind of too easy.
Players “set” the difficulty I guess. If they aren’t willing to do harder content then Blizzard will give them easier content to do - the alternative is they get bored and quit.
nah they are not too easy they are just right
you’re only doing delves for two weeks then M+ so dont ask for them to make it harder if you aint gonna do em anyways after a buff
delves tier 9-11 are tuned for delve gear not max max ilvl gear
I agree with this. I don’t think Blizzard is making delves to be challenging for very well geared players, if it feels so easy then I think you are overgeared for them and need to move on to something else for if you’re looking for a challenge.
If they give gilded crests they should be the same difficulty as other things that give gilded crests.
