I took it the opposite way. It felt more like the game was trying to say you were a celebrity, and it’s like somebody asking a celebrity to do a silly thing (assuming it’s not some Karen-y thing everybody asks them to do) and they actually do it instead of telling the person off or screaming for security, it’s like ‘whoah I can’t believe you actually did it.’
Tbf the game has actually gotten much better with not being so edgy or hateful towards its own players, if you think that’s bad man… I wonder how you felt about that horrid self-insert character that talked down to you every millisecond. People talk about the Disneyification of WoW, but the Disney-ing of WoW is the only thing stopping Ion from being an Evil Queen.
Fungal Folly is one of my least favorite Delves, but that circle quest does not bother me. The constant exploding spores that respawn too fast bother me.
its entirely incharacter for the player character to willingly run in circles like an idiot for a reward. look at how many quests where we personally caused problems because someone offered us some gold and a piece of armor
Poor Mike! He should have killed Tuco and save Hank from the pain he inflicted on the world. Too many half-measures can make the road bumpy and painful.
