There was a quest in Fungal Folly where I had to run around in circles, and then the NPC even said, “I can’t believe I made you do that.” This is utterly disrespectful and horrible. I don’t want to play a game that forces me to run in circles, even once, and then explicitly calls me a fool. At that moment, it feels like I’m just a pawn with no self-worth.
Deleves helped gear my main to item level 619, acquire set pieces with that Spidersilk thing, and made me feel genuinely useful in Mythic+. Now I’m about 2.3k IO on my main!
I’m rolling an alt to get some 619 gear and set pieces, but I have to do Delves again. I’m not sure I can handle it. I have about 13 days left on my subscription, and I don’t know if I can go through this hazing by Blizzard’s game designers. I want to enjoy Mythic+ and be useful while having fun, but the Delves make me run in circles.
On the plus side, Delves can teach you interrupts, rotations, and the right abilities to use in various situations—AOE vs. single-target—to maximize damage. That’s what Delves should be: excellent combat simulators, preparing you for higher-end content. They shouldn’t make you run in circles and then comment on how absurd it all is.

so soooo MUCH FUN. I love the ones with the gas clouds around them two fungles on mounts a ton of little ones, sporebits and of course the mobs if you don’t silent give mini mobs. What FUN. HAHA…NOT!

Wasn’t that circle drawing straight out of legion? I distinctly recall having to run around, tracing increasingly complex designs for a world quest or regular quest at some point.
