That is all.
Gone are the days of getting no loot in LFR/normal/heroic raid. No getting nothing in mythic plus.
More deterministic loot is great for us who don’t have hours to waste for no gain and who frankly roll like complete garbage while others get multiple pieces of loot in the same run.
I hope they keep tuning delves to get it right for all classes while giving the continued opportunity to get decent gear for time investment with the bountiful delve/key that pop up over the week.
I see this becoming a new pillar continued on like mythic dungeons did.

Yep, delves are great. I only hope they will balance them for all classes and fix the scaling without making them too easy in the process.

Yeah I really love them. I’m surprised to see people complaining about them here, I think they got implemented great and allow for a really huge variety in making custom builds and play styles for specs.
A small handful of classes probably have it a little rough, mage and spriest specifically, but ultimately I think even these classes do well if players are able to change up their gameplay a bit. They’ll never be a prot Paladin, but it’s surprisingly balanced

would of been better if they dropped currency instead of rng , literally got the same ring 6 times this week in Bountiful delves.

guaranteed high ilvl gear as a reward = good
everything else about delves = bad
delves are not good or fun. yes that is my opinion. guranteed high ilvl gear is good, but do not conflate the two things into one. blizz could(and should imo) slap guaranteed high ilvl gear on any other activity and delete delves entirely.

I think they are great too and while they fell a bit short on latest tuning this week it helps to know they have a much larger pass on tuesday next week from data and player feedback.
with +4 and higher getting 350% increase in mob HP/DMG as well as much more mob density for both solo and group it will be fun and the rewards will finally be earned properly for the difficulty!
Delves are boring as hell and annoying. They are filler fluff content.

I mean the last 5 delves I’ve run I got chest, chest, cloak, cloak, chest. Deterministic my a55.

I enjoy them a lot sadly there is 2 camps of people that would see them ruined.
Camp A. People that don’t want solo progression to exist they will do anything to sabotage it.
Camp B. people that want it to just be a roflstomp no matter your skill or gear level.
Thankfully Blizzard seems to be listening to camp C. that wants challenging yet rewarding solo content. Tuning and iterations are likely to come through the coming seasons and even expansions but eventually these will be in a great spot.

I’m pretty sure they got some numbers saying that a shockingly large amount of the community play the game essentially “solo”. I’m sure that delves will be massively successful for this group

Did the new changes actually make them playable again?
They felt playable before, all I can say is try and see. Tbh though the last 2 delves I did felt a little more brutal for me then prior to hotfix then again I didn’t do these specific ones earlier so it could just be that. Underwater one I died 3 times when earlier today in earthcrawl I died 0 times. I suspect there is just a difference in damage output in the zones though and or I was missing the kill target. I’ll need to run it a few times to learn better.
Meh, I’m probably a bit on the sour side of the fence, but a curse upon the encounter designer, may every one of their solo delvs be met with Tala and Velo as their first pull next to a mandatory objective
I love delves as well. They have been a lot of fun so far.
we no not have the required information to make a real guess unless blizz releases said information publicly. so lets not pretend we have the info.

Aside from the questionable tuning yesterday, I’ve been having fun with delves. My husband and I both play and aside from WQs, there wasn’t really much we could do just with the two of us (we don’t mind grouping with others but sometimes we just want to chill). We’ve been having a blast trying to tackle them together.
I’m pretty sure it’s been stated before, maybe not by official channels like a big forum post but as least by individual devs here and there.
I think they’re horribly tuned but interesting, and I think most M+/raiders won’t care at all about these in 2/3 months.
