I agree, I did a Tak10 with a Ret Paladin. Brann’s AI was acting up but we got it done, the run went smooth.

I don’t see Delves ever rewarding Mythic Track gear and that’s the only way the drops could be better.
Overall, i think delve balance is ok for casual players. i do wish they didnt have to make mobs be bullet sponges to simulate difficulty since that style of mob hurts dps that have no healing or constant damage mitigation.

Well, they have said this in an interview last season which was surprising:
Delve Rewards
They are concerned about giving rewards past Hero track as that may undermine motivations for doing group content. We’ll see what the future holds.
One of those wait and see scenarios I guess.

I’d say being able to get Gilded Crests from Delves was the answer. By the end of the Season a Delver only player can be close in iLevel to a Raider in full Mythic gear,

Isn’t that true of any content in an MMO? Repetition leads to expertise. How many times could you run Black Temple till your raid had it on farm status? PvP battle grounds at least have some variety in the ways you die.
That is a good point, I never considered Gilded Crest being that reward when they said this.

I main guardian druid and park around tier 7 delves. Victory feels inevitible, which is how it should. I’m pleased. I don’t play games like this “to be challeged,” and the rewards are impressive speaking as someone who remembers a day when purples were special and a gold peice reward was a big deal. Those impressions never fade, so I imagine I will always enjoy this kind of reward track.
My only complaint with delves right now is my “effort economics alarm” prevents me from doing delves on level capped alts while undercoin isn’t warbound.

I am really enjoying Delves in S2, I feel more self drive to actually do them and keep doing them. It actually means they hold my attention not just on one toon, but all 40 of my alts also.

No idea… only played 2 in my life, Star Wars Galixies and WoW. Tell yah this though, i consider pvp to be the real end game.
It seems in season 2 tier 11 is where 8 was in season 1 difficulty wise. Maybe that’s their intention.
I dont know about elites, Im just doing delves and I feel it is too easy and I didnt deserve heroic raid loot or close to it for doing it.
It’s a lot easier now that I can use my mainspec (Mistweaver) while solo. I know it alot better than my ww os.

I sincerely believe that casual players with reasonable goals should not be being “told they aren’t good enough” by this content. Does that mean everyone clears 11’s in their sleep? I personally don’t go higher than 7 unless I have friends with me. As a soloist, nothing above is likely to feel effort economical, and I am not a “bleed for another point of item level” kind of player, which is why I main guardian druid, a spec that should always “just win” if I pick my battles reasonably. That’s what I’m here for: “Apply time, and win,” not a challenge.
I am good enough. It’s not the game’s job to insist otherwise. This current difficulty curve seems to understand that. I approve.

The wild thing is that the fight’s not even hard. Its damage is just so comically overtuned that it’s got the potential to 100 to 0 you before you have the chance to do anything about it.
Well , I am just a beginner, I did 3 T4 delves with my prot pally and I only had 2 keys and a guaranteed extra chest ticket .
I looted 2 curio upgrades , a 629 trinket and the extra chest dropped a veteran one hand axe.
The trick may be to do a few you have keys for a week and not spend your life in them

I think that the difficulty depends on a lot of things - your ilvl, your spec, level of your Brann and the story itself.
100% this. When I facetanked this boss on my Resto Shaman, my hp bar was doing the yoyo constantly.
What delve is this boss in? I haven’t fought this one yet.
