Good evening, I did a Delve after using the Delver’s Bounty item, and in the end oh the delve, the extra chest didn’t appear.

This happened to me as well. I used a tier 8 Delver’s Bounty in a tier 8 bountiful Waterworks. The new mobs Tala and Velo were in it, and after I killed them I was stuck in combat (not even shadowmeld could fix it).
I relogged to try to fix it since I couldn’t pick up items being in combat, and apparently it turned the bountiful delve into a regular one. It ate my map buff without giving me a hidden trove at the end and the two small chests were those of a regular delve. The delve remained bountiful on my map.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Disappointed, but not surprised, unfortunately.
