I usually run my 4 delves per week. I run 3 and if I don’t get a Delver’s Bounty I use a wave scrambler 2000 in my 4th one. I just used it in the Excavation Site 9 delve, defeated the underpin and looted my Delver’s Bounty. I used it before the last boss and got a necklace from the hidden trove.
All good right? Well, I needed some extra runed crest so i headed to another bountiful delve and it says I haven’t received my Delver’s Bounty! I ran a macro I have to check if I have looted it this week and the macro returns a “false” result meaning i haven’t looted it this week even though I did. I have done this multiple times and never had this happened before. I’m sure I looted the Delver’s Bounty from the Underpin pile and used it and also looted the hidden trove at the end of the delve.
Not that I’m complaining but could this be a bug or did blizzard maybe changed it so that it acts as a catch up mechanic? We can only hope so but I’m curious if anyone else has had this happened as well? Maybe an undocumented change?
I closed the game and re-log to make sure it wasn’t a visual bug and it’s still there.
This is what I use, at first i thought maybe the quest Id was changed but I’m hesistant to do the delve now. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m using an exploit.
As I commented in another thread, I have received multiple maps in a week, but only in S1.
Now this week, on this guy and my first alt, I received my delver’s bounty map straight from underpin in the very first delve of the week, almost like right into the delve. Don’t think I’ve seen that happen before. Pulled like first couple groups in the first area and nuked em and underpin shows up during the pull.
However, on my monk alt, I went 4 delves in before getting map, and that map came from the heavy trunk at the end.
I wonder if the maps might have differing IDs thus rendering your script coming back false?
I have yet to receive more than one map per week, per toon, this season so far though.
Ugh. That fight is just a pain as healer and tank. I’m going to experiment with Rescue on my dracthyr to see if I can herd Brann into the cul de sac where he doesn’t have anywhere to run!
I was wondering about this as well so i went back to my other characters that have already completed their Delver’s Bounty this week and the script works just fine. I’m thinking it might be a bug on my rogue as I have completed 2 more bountiful delves after that and i have yet to receives a new Delver’s Bounty. I’m hesitant to use another Scrambler but if i end up doing it I’ll come back and update.
