Not complaining at all about this but why do tier 8 delves give better rewards than even a +5 M plus. Ive been soloing tier 8 delves since about 583 item level and now that I have a 604 toon they are simply trivial. MUCH easier than a 5 m plus. Dont get me wrong…I love the easy rewards from delves but I was just wondering what the reasoning is behind making them that way. I have a feeling Blizz will take them away as a good source of gear in the future and Id like for that not to happen.

I mean a +5 is easy if people know what they’re doing too.

people first complained about loot accessibility through m+ group content. So when blizzard introduced solo content this exp with very good loot ilevel, people…complain that the reward is too good and accessible for solo content?

I must say that is something. How did you reach 80 and only have that gearscore though? Did you just not ever equip any of the items along the way?

You’re comparing peak Delve with middle Mythic+. Ultimately Mythic+ and Raids give higher level loot. Different plateaus.

Youre right…583. I fixed that.
Highest ilvl vault reward possible from Delves: 616
Highest ilvl vault reward possible from M+: 623
Highest ilvl vault reward possible from Mythic Raiding: 639
But a +5 m plus is 10 times harder than a tier 8 delve…thats what doesnt make sense to me.
Not true for everyone.
Delve rewards have a stopping point. M+ keeps going past the Delve rewards.
It’s fine. This is for world content players.

Don’t know that to tell you. I guess people asked for more difficult Mythic+ last expansion and Blizzard condensed things. I do know that I will max out between 610 and 619, if I am lucky. Mythic+ will go higher than that.
However, I don’t do Mythic+ because they are timed, usually PUGs and I can’t queue for them. But if what you’re saying is true, then you should try to get the rewards in Mythic+ bumped up…

Delve rewards seem proportionate to their challenge. You only get 603 champion from bountiful chests and 616 hero from the vault.
M+ and Mythic raid have the potential to far surpass those item levels so who cares, just do higher keys lol.

Delves cap out at 619, maybe 620-621 with enough bounty maps.
Raid and M+ cap out at 639.
The rewards from delves aren’t even on the radar of serious pve players past the initial gearing of a season. They exist for casual players to have a form of progression besides dealing with M+ pugging. They are not taking anything away from M+

Raiding is for the challenge, not the gear, these days.
Because upper level keys are harder than raiding.
