is there a place to queue for delves or do we have to travel to each of them?
Far as I know you have to travel.
i was sort of hoping that once you had completed them “in person” that we could have a central entry point.
they aren’t that hard to get to, of course, but still…
Yeah that would be nice. Maybe blizzard will add it down the line. They say delves are expected to be a thing just from now on so I expect the system to get occasional QoL updates.
The entire point of delves is that they’re designed for players out in the open world to be able to enter them when they’re out and about. I think you want dungeons.
Queue would be nice. I don’t find them particularly enjoyable, having to actually seek them out doesn’t do anything to make them more appealing.
They’re entirely optional content. I think you want dungeons.
The sheer amount of laziness and lobby style people want from this game is astounding.
Maybe we will get portals at a higher difficulty as a reward but the correlative here is mythic+ dungeons where you have to go to the instance manually. Only those completing their achievement for them get the portals. I can see them doing something like that for delves.
Actually the purpose of delves is to provide a progression of difficulty for solo or incomplete group play and for players who find the new M0 too challenging. You know the folks who got screwed over by the removal of the first ten levels of mythic difficulty?
No it’s not, it’s to add new content and experiences to the open world.
These replayable, seasonal, role-agnostic adventure experiences offer a new way to enjoy the leveling and endgame progression alongside traditional Dungeons, Raids, and PvP.
I think you need to go back and read the Blizzard articles on delves.
Along with your NPC companion, Delves can be explored solo or with a group of up to five, with any combination of classes. And, since they take 10-15 minutes on average to complete, they’re ideal for players who want to experience a meaningful game progression without significant time commitments.
Pretty soon they’ll want to sit in a room and have herbs and ore just come in on a conveyor belt while they wait in their queue.
Isn’t this what TSM is?
No
Nowhere in there does it support anything you’ve said.
It’s mean to provide endgame progression for people who to prefer to use and play in the open world.
If you want to sit in the capital city and play LFG simulator, you have options already.
The entire purpose of delves was that they’re exclusively in the open world and you can enter them while you’re out doing weeklies or dailies or whatever else you’re doing in the open world. The express point of them was to be an alternative to LFG simulator.
They’re entirely optional, you don’t have to do them just like a person doesn’t have to do raids or PvP or M+.
Blizzard has said this much. In fact I am the one here who understands what they were for. You are the one who ought to go back and refamiliarize yourself with the point of delves.
i grinded out exalted rep with alterac valley and got the earthstrike trinket in classic. each of those efforts took about 3 weeks of doing almost nothing else in the game. i ran more than 1500 m+ dungeons in DF. your lame attempt at insulting me holds absolutely zero water. really, though, nice try, friend. keep up the good work.
No one cares what you were grinding or what you got. It’s irrelevant to wanting a lobby game.
Delves are part of outdoor content. They’re considered places you adventure to and explore to find. They aren’t dungeons. They aren’t raids.
oh, you mean garrisons?
WoD garrison enter the chat.
