I just completed a Bountiful Delve and when I went to loot the Bountiful chest, I realized I was out of keys. If I can get another key doing WQ’s today and I go do that Delve again, will the Bountiful chest appear or did I bork it?
If you look at that Delve on the map again, you will see that it has lost its Bountiful status. If you go back in, it will be just a normal Delve, so you have lost that chance at that chest for today.
Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty more!

Unfortunately, yes, that delve is borked today. I do this often enough.
- Depending on rep, you can buy 2 keys from the delve vendors.
- When you enter the delve, it shows you the rewards. If you have no keys, the bountiful is dark red - unfortunately, this is pretty subtle, but if you learn to look for it, it can help in the future.

Another way to get keys for Bountiful Delves, is to do some of the weekly quest in Dornogal. To get some key shards( need 100) to make a key.
Another way to get keys shards is if you have Radiant Echo is go to the world soul ( shown on the map where it is at as a blue dot thing) and do that for keys shards
Doing some of the world quests will reward key shards too
But yea as others have said, if you dont have the key for the chest and leave it is done you lose out on the loot, which is why I posted about getting keys some other ways besides rep using other currencies to buy them.
