I’m playing WoW almost exclusively with my longtime best friend. We’ve enjoyed delves quite a lot, since it’s content we can do together.
However, one of his favorite classes is Marksman Hunter. I can’t figure out a good class to partner with that.
A tank seems an obvious choice, but the only tank I enjoy playing (I’ve tried them all) is Brewmaster Monk, and I partner my monk with his discipline priest. It’s a great combo.
I’ve tried Evoker, one of the ranged classes I enjoy, but it’s very messy since neither of our characters are good at taking hits from mobs.
Are there any non-tank classes I could try out to partner with him? Alternatively, anything good I could partner with his discipline priest over my monk?

Warrior would be a good option you buff him with AP
Gives you the option to tank as well but fury has solid self healing.

You can do all delves solo
I did Marksman Hunter/Destruction Warlock with Brann as a healer and it worked well… Blueberry is an awesome tank and double ranged negates a lot of aoe that is melee punishing.

That’s not what he’s asking.
Him and a friend like to play together. He’s just asking for something that works well with his friends preferred class.

Pretty sure anything works, i just lvled my DH today to 80, and hes like 570 and rolling T8s

Remember that even though MM hunter has Lone Wolf, its totally fine to use a pet as a tank.
Really just run whatever you like and have fun with. The best part about delves is that you don’t need to worry about group composition; they are accessible to everyone.

This isn’t a hard concept to understand.
Double Marksman Hunter so you can cap them foo’s with bullets like those guys did to Robocop.

Demo is OP. You Felguard can be the pet the MM Hunter is lacking. The Felguard is silly tanky…you can Health Funnel your pet as needed and use Health pots from Brann to recharge. Healthstones and BRez are useful as well.

Honestly OP, I’d have both of you just play the class you like the most. That’s more important long term, and you’ll figure out how to work together to clear delves.
Most duos would work together fine, as long as you don’t go holy priest / holy priest or something silly like that lol.
Keep in mind that Brann will have a tank spec next season, so you both may want to play different specs/classes

It’s great news for me too, as a solo Delver, i have to use my VW to tank (which robs me of my felhunter’s interrupt), i look forward to being able to use my puppy again!
