I’ll be doing them for the whole season at least. I don’t do enough content to even be able to upgrade my 610 piece. Lol.

I want to add that just because some of us are solo players, doesn’t mean we don’t know how to play the game or aren’t decent with our characters. I’m not really a casual player since I play at least a little bit each day but I also have a lot less time than some so I stick to solo and queable content. But I have also been playing since day 1 of wow so I know my class fairly well.
Tier 8s are easy now on my hunter and I downed Zekvir on ? a few days ago and just did the tier 11 with no revives yesterday. Given the challenge of Zekvir on ??, the higher level gear from delves will be needed to have a chance at it since many of us won’t have another source of gear.
For me, delves have been a great addition to the game and while they need some changes to work for all classes, I think the gear rewards for tier 8 is fine. If it was lower, then we would need other changes or only people who gear outside of delves would be able to finish all the challenges (Zekvir ??).

Delves are fantastic and I hate to see bad actors trying to make Blizz get the loot lowered to nothing.

I’ve done a whole four tier 8s and only enough of the lower ones to get me to tier 8. lol
I have a lot to do, but I was still able to get through 8s way too early on.

Also in LFG there’s WTS ads for Delves. They became just another venue that people buy carries for

Well I guess Blizz is happy they get token sales.
Its just 603 gear and becomes 616 in the vault once a week .There are M+ players and raiders already around 620 .
If they are world first player that has sponsors and are providing others employment , they wouldn’t be complaining about this , they practically eat-sleep-wow repeat and still get paid tid bids for the effort they put.
Anybody other than that has just fallen into to peer pressure tactics by Blizzard . “If I don’t do it some-one else will do it and be ahead” . or " I don’t want to be burden to my group If I don’t do it while other are doing it "
Blizzard has designed M+ in such a way that it makes raiders like above to do it , this to some extent is also true to M+ players as well. Now this is been going on for 12 years , you would be a fool to believe its not intentional as it is by design.
So unless these players will grow some willpower say I won’t do it I am out , this will keep happening and will never stop

I’ve been mostly doing tier 7s for the better part since they came out. Dipped my toes into tier 8 just now as my ilvl hit the recommended for them. Maybe I’ll upgrade slot 2…
im all for them being as easy as they are since i can bang them out quicker and they give vault loot the same as a 7 key which is more effort but atm delve gear that is the same ilvl as gear i have on after running a sim i have 3 slots that are a upgrade between .3 and .8% upgrade which is pretty large. i dont mind that i have to run them since i want the transmog from there anyway. plus i dont run them every day and use up all my keys i just run a few here and there. just enough to get my 2 vault choices. all this being said raiders will do anything for that extra .1% dps so until there fully in myth track gear this still will have the chance to be something you would need to get. oh also i like delves because people run it which means i wont have to solo it and deal with bran i can just run it on alts with people and kill time
then why does it give heroic raid tier loot
nobody cares about “delve loot” except for people it WAS intended for farming t8 delves and not wanting to do m+ or raid for upgrades. and i agree with them. why stop there? why does delve loot work in m+ or raids if it was meant for solo progression?
you can clear delve 8 and get heroic raid loot with green pvp gear. i’ve done it on two characters. explain why those characters should get free 616 loot again?

the bottomline with delves is blizzard overpowered the rewards so people would do it
tune it to the actual difficulty curve and people would ignore it and whine about it not being rewarding enough.
but we’re in looney tunes land when people think something clearable solo with 560 gear should yield 600+ loot and 616 in vault. that’s laughable

I have no problem with raiders doing delves.
My problem lay with them saying the content is too easy and the reward should be nerfed… yes, it’s easy for them. They are competent raiders who know their full kits. But it’s not really so easy for a casual player.
You got web bolts and mechanics and multiple mobs hitting you for a large chunk of health. Oh, and don’t stand in the webs. Don’t dash too far with the special action button or you’ll fly off the platform mid fight trying to cleanse the area! Luckily a Brann is there to assist with some healing at least!

the content IS objectively too easy for the rewards you get. with more time spent you get far worse rewards from other content.
all this nonsense about how a casual player needs it or isn’t as good is stupid, casual just means TIME SPENT PLAYING not “how good you are.” You’re reinforcing dumb stereotypes
Point out where you get 616 gear for literally 1 hour of playing. There’s your answer.

Yeah Delves could have had their own rewards similar to PvP gear. Like 593 max outside in the world and scaling up in the Delve. Then they could “progress” but you’re right they’d complain as they want to be as geared as everyone else without the effort

Well, 616 is apparently nothing for you raiders. Y’all are already getting to 630 ilvl! While the casuals doing the content are gonna be more than likely capped at 616 because they don’t do the content rewarding runed crests.

False. I never care to do Mythic raiding or push very high keys. So I don’t get the highest crests. As a Heroic only raider I cap out at 619
It seems you got a friend to attack the thread with bad takes. Delves are an option. You can choose to do them or not. I’ll be doing them though and getting that sweet 616 vault loot!

My biggest concern is people getting the 616 vault gear and then trying to jump into raids or M+ with their high ilvl but then have 0 idea how to do mechanics, stay alive etc.
