"Delve into the Earth" - there is no Brann Bronzebeard to speak to outside after completion

As the title says, after I collect loot after the last boss fight I took the helicopter which dropped me off outside the delve. The last point in the delve quest is to “Speak to Brann” but he is nowhere to be seen. Any BM Hunter have the same problem? If so, what was your solution?

[EDIT] I read some posts about having pets caused the problem. So I re-ran the entire delve and switched to SURVIVAL before claiming the loot. Same problem, though. No BRANN outside the completed the delve.

Wait so you read that pets might be the issue and swapped to the other spec that uses pets?

If an NPC isn’t where it should be, often it’s some sort of issue where that NPC is involved in another quest or phase. Is this a second/third toon? You might try abandoning any other quests that involve Brann or are given by Brann and see if he shows up.

One of the posts I read said they swapped to SURVIVAL and that fixed the problem. I’ll try running as MM then.

Ran and switched to MM at the end. I was surprised that my pet was still with me. So all the specs have pets?

Thanks, Samarana. I deleted all my other quests. I just started WWI (this is my main) and only had 3 non-campaign quests. Ran the Delve again. Switched to Marksman at the end. Exited the Delve and, lo and behold, Brann was there. Went back to the village and completed the quest.
