As a lot predicted, after the first round of “delves are too easy,” when they capped at 3 the “nerf delves,” posts have started for 8s and also the group finder requirements for Delves are quickly what you would expect requiring achievement of a completed 8 and/or gearscore 600+
Meanwhile if you do mechanics and pay attention I was able to solo it at about 580 gearscore and my Brann isn’t too high yet either.
So let me start off by addressing a couple common replies I’m sure we will see. Yes, it is their group they can do what they want this is more of a kind of discussion to try to save people time rather than waiting in group finder forming their group. Watching someone trying to form a group when I started a delve and that same 4 still waiting for their fifth when I finished, guys you could be done already just go.
Second, make your own group. I did, or more accurately I just decided to solo it rather than deal with any stress for what I see as kind of fun, casual content. Which again goes back to my point, I am able to solo it but people think I am not good enough to do it as a group? Meaning they think themselves as a negative that needs carried?
Edit to add, again not sour grapes or anything I am fine soloing Delves although I think a group could still be faster but whatever. I am not going to search for a half hour for a group to save a few minutes on the run itself. Just saying if you are forming groups like above maybe just step back, give it a try and you will be surprised that you are able to complete it with much less than you think you needed.
This kind of goes back to the M+ groups looking for 1 billion dps pumpers only for a +2 key, and their reasoning was also the same they wanted to blow through them quickly.
But when you do the math does that really work out? You can solo it in 20-30 minutes, or you search for a group for 30 minutes so you can breeze through it in 15?
Also, I’ve already addressed forming groups I will currently solo it just as a personal thing to see if I can complete them all on 8 solo then maybe I will start doing groups for speed later.
LOL Yup, I even said it in my OP that I 100% knew that was going to be one of the replies and sure enough… despite the fact that I addressed it ahead of time they still did not dissapoint.
I think the Delve group craze will die down a bit once everyone uses up their stockpiled keys for the bountiful delves. Will probably be more normal after that.
It’s an answer, and it could be correct, it is also something I addressed in the OP ahead of time. I did form my own group, albeit a group of 1 and I completed it while the group that declined me was still waiting to find their fifth.
No I’m pretty sure it’s just the correct answer because there isn’t going to be another one.
You can’t control how people form their groups, and you’re never going to change hearts and minds in a forum that less than 1% of the game population reads.
So you can stay mad or you can accept what the only real solution to any group problems is.
Unlocking an 8 by completing a 7 is a requirement yes, not completing an 8 to do an 8. This isn’t heroic raiding where you want to see AotC to make sure people know the fights.
Also, and I think for the fifth time I am saying this if you include the original post I did just solo it. I am simply saying people may want to at least try opening up their requirements a bit but it’s whatever to me they can continue to sit in queue for hours a day.
Well yeah, and we all saw this complaint coming. Some one complains that other people’s standards are too high expecting that everyone else should lower their standards for them. The obvious response is to tell that person to set their own standards for their own group.
