Is anyone else concerned with blizzard’s ability to make your companions acts as they should with their poor track record with pet pathing and AI?
They already have a baseline of it with Proving Grounds.
Combined with the content being trivial. They just need a out of combat “summon group to me” type option in case one gets stuck.
The AI they have they’ve been improving slowly over time since BfA islands. Back then it was considered advanced AI in pvp and would interrupt and do some stuff like stun or slow you. So it’s actually pretty good quality AI and I’m sure it’ll improve even more after dungeon companions.
I’m 100% sure there will be a few bugs, but ‘concerned?’ No. I think it will be a great content addition.
you mean, to play exactly as perfectly as real people do? no, i don’t think that’s a high bar for them to clear

They use interrupts right? Already better than real players >.<
The AI in Follower Dungeons was pretty decent with the runs I did on the PTR. It is the same AI used in the dungeon on Exile’s Reach. That has also improved since it was first released.
Hopefully, build on this for delves.
Will it matter if they use interrupts, or will they just be unkillable terminators like the rest of the companions we run into?
