I’m not sure how it’s going to affect crafting, but yeah since they’re adding a mythic only crest, which is at the moment only available from M+ 9 keys and above, and Mythic raid, if the top level crafting recipes need it it wouldn’t be available in delves
Well, Delves cap out at Heroic tier gear. That’s how they work now.
In Midnight, because Heroic Gear ONLY require Heroic Crests, then there is no need for Delves to drop Mythic Crests. Simple.
I think these Crest changes too simplistic and dumbing things down too much, but that’s just me.

Meh, that trinket vendor is nothing special. For me it’s 11x 3, and an 8 to get 2 GV picks and that’s it.
Aren’t you onto buying sparks from vault by now? So just having 3 slots from any category filled is enough
Most likely but too early to say since we don’t know how crafting works in Midnight.
Assuming we still have the option to convert crests upwards Delvers will still have a shot at crafting the highest crafted tier possible it just won’t be possible until maybe a month or two into the season.

Why would I buy sparks from the vault? We’ll get 1 every 2 weeks and I don’t really need more than that.
Also, when I said 3 x 11s and 1 x 8, that’s just for Delves, i do M+ so I usually get 4-5 GV picks
You do it to craft a perfectly customized 720 item every week just via delves, and trading up the weekly 90 runed crests for another 30 gilded.

Nvm. Assumed you were just doing delves. If you’re also getting myth track slots from m+ then ofc take those.

If I can get hero from Delves. Why would I need to raid?

Well, consider the regular posts we get from people asking for Mythic gear to drop from delves.
You wanted a citation that Delves are a Bridge to get you into Raid.
You get Hero gear from Delves, after which the only way left up is Raids and M+. Ergo, delves are a bridge to get you into Raids. Which is where Mythic gear is.
Yea and those are the clueless delver types who need to be spoonfed step by step on how to optimize gearing up and still can’t figure it out, they should easily be disregarded. Often at times when I look at their achievements it shows they haven’t cleared a T11 yet especially from S1.
Not a valid one, Blizzard already trying to coerce Delvers into a +2 for 15 Gilded. So far seeing as it’ll no longer be available in Midnight, I guess they will probably stop doing that.
Delves being a “bridge” is just another nonsensical, subtle jab at “YoU aREn’T dOInG rEaL COnTent” drivel.
Have you not realized the glaring difference in restrictions in delves vs M+ keys/raids?
Delves offer 2 rewards a week - both heroic. One from map, on from vault. And 31 gilded crests max(with map on tier 11 for one). You can’t get 720+ from delves.
Raid/M+ offer the ability to not only farm a ton of crests but very good - BIS - loot as well. And mythic tier gear.
The delve hero gear sucks aside from tier. They are far from BIS.
Honey, I’ve been on top of my gearing game since S1 from Delves. I’m fully aware. I’m currently 711 now without stepping into both pillars and will be higher next week when the cap removes.
And next week all I have to do is show up to 4 M0s to get my hands on a hero raid trinket.
While that is true, I didn’t need BiS for ?? Ky’veza. Which was the only seasonal goal I cared about. And I’m sure people who boasted about getting KSL didn’t need it either seeing it was obtained week 1.
Well, I don’t actually disagree with pretty much anything you said.
People who keep referring to Delves as the 3rd tier of endgame are fooling themselves. Endgame (to me) is always group content. Which is why Mythic gear currently and should always be only from M+ or Raids
However, you cannot deny that Delves will help you gear up enough that you can actually TRY said content. Yes, you will possibly suck at it if all you got going for you is gear since said person’s ability to work in a group may be lacking. It is essentially a bridge and the gear pathing that we can SEE is all the citation that we need.
