AFAIK Great Vault gear rewards are capped at 694, level 8 delves. What is the Great Vault reward for 9 and above, crests?
No change in GV, as you noted. You can get gilded crests for doing 11s. Basically I do 11s or if I cannot get any more crests I can use from the delve, I just drop to 8s.

most people just run tier 11 all the time tho for gilded crests and max runed payout. no more gilded crests from tier 11 in midnight though

And that’s too high for how easy they are.
So you’re saying if I run 8 Delves I’ll get 717 gear in the vault?
No. You get Hero track 1/8 in the Vault. You have to upgrade it.
Ignore Slot. He’s either usually wrong or just gives bad takes by leaving out important info.

If you run T8 to T11 delves, IN THE VAULT, you’ll get a piece of Hero gear. There is no difference in the vault regardless of T8 or t11.
The reason people do T11s is because it drops Guilded Crests (7 per run, up to a Max of 3 a week). There is almost no reason to do 9s or 10s unless you really really can’t do an 11 but still want to get more reward from the Delver’s Bounty. You get
10 Guilded if you cash in a Delvers Bounty on an 11,
8 Guilded on a 10,
6 Guilded on a 8
4 Guilded on a 6
And the only reason to do a 7 is because it will still drop hero gear and is much easier but the Vault is only Champion Tier.

Some bits are Nowhere. Some are basically thrown at you but you gotta actually know where to look
You work out that you can only get X guilded from the Bounty Reward by basically doing them. Though, its a fairly simple pattern so that wasn’t hard.
You work out what rewards you get from the Vault by looking at the vault and seeing the rewards listed.
You work out that you get Guilded from T11s by going to an ACTIVE SHINING Delve and click on the entrance and scroll to T11 and look at the delve rewards. Yes, if you’ve already done it or if its not Bountiful (Shining), you get ZERO information.
Most of this info in found on Wowhead or if you just Google it. But it’s not straightforward. Even those articles might not be as easily to find as one would think.

When you run enough T8 delves to fill a vault slot it will say the item level and something along the lines of “reward at max level”. That’s as close to an explanation as you get on vault rewards.
The only indicated reward otherwise is the 3/week gilded crests that are noted on a T11 delve selection screen.

Just run 3 x 11’s a week. Or run an 11 if you’ve activated your Delver’s Bounty.
Otherwise just keep running 8’s.

Wow. I legit forgot it was T8 for max rewards. I’ve been doing T9s. Lul. Except this past week, Brann was bugged and doing stupid amounts of damage, so I struggle-bugged through T11s on all my alts for some extra gilded crests.
I think somebody mentioned that T9s were going to get something extra now to make it worth actually bothering with but for the life of me I can’t remember what or if that was just something I misremembered.
Vendor at the end that sells trinkets.
