And how many Alliance guilds have quit, this expansion?

I don’t know.

But, of the guilds I was referencing, one of them is Club Camel. NA first Alliance guild to clear mythic, and in the top 20 guilds worldwide. They recently went horde and transferred to Area 52.

I know you don’t. Go and find out.

Yeah, there’s been quite the hysteria about that. Meanwhile, we had 2 Top 50 guilds on Hyjal that had been around since vanilla - BOTH HORDE - quit the game this expansion, along with hundreds of other raiding guilds, both Horde and Alliance.

There is no mass defection of Alliance guilds going Horde. What’s happening is that raiding guilds - Horde AND Alliance - are quitting the game, because Battle for Azeroth was a garbage expansion, and because the dev team keeps pooping on raiders every chance they get.

Still waiting.

Once Horde, got high Raider scores, swapped to Alliance for Druid aesthetics cause Trolls are gross.

Alliance does not M+ or Mythic. It happens, just few and far between.

I think Alliance guilds and mentality are the problem. Alot of younger people play Alliance and alot of Alliance guilds are very PC, very social justice this or that.

On Horde, it’s always, do your sht, be cool and be on your A+ game. No one cared about politics, etc.

Maybe when cooler people run guilds, Alliance will change.

I’m honestly not that interested. If you wanna know you can go find out.

Okay, I never said it was a mass defection. Simply stated my observations of the endgame population.

Huh. Well all I came here to do was state my opinion and observations on endgame population balance between factions, not make a statement on raiding or what Blizzard is doing to raiders. I also never made a statement about guilds quitting, or the overall quality of the game.

So…try being less angry, I guess? I’m done here, I’ve said my piece. Thanks for not reading it.

These threads are always started by (a) an Alliance player, who (b) doesn’t even raid.

It’s hilarious that the original poster is on Proudmoore, which has THIRTY 12/12 Alliance Cutting Edge Mythic guilds and another dozen at 11/12 Mythic working on Nzoth.

That’s 42 guilds to choose from, just on his server.

The only ā€œissueā€ here is the number of Alliance players who keep saying ā€œI want there to be more Cutting Edge Alliance guilds so I feel better about my faction choice… I just don’t want to pitch in and actually raid.ā€

I pitch in and raid frequently.

I want less BS in CE Guilds on the Alliance side.

I don’t see it happening.

Making wide sweeping generalizations based on one metric that a small portion of the population uses is at best naĆÆve trolling. Well done on your catch.

All you did was post the same talking points that get parroted all the time, I called you out on why it’s nonsense.

Well. Which is it. 1%? Or literally nothing?

Really? Cause I usually see:

Racials! Not as big of a difference as you think. Inconsequential, really.

Story! But the alliance won the fourth war and we got another maniac warchief

Allied Races! Really a matter of taste, I actually prefer the alliance ones

Mounts! Lol, plenty of unique non faction locked mounts in this game. Heck, most of the faction locked mounts suck anyways

PVP! I’ve lost about as much on my horde toons as I have on my alliance toons, and I’ve been ganked on both factions.

And as for larger population, it really does not matter except at the very highest level of play. You’re going to do just fine as a heroic guild on the alliance. The faction isn’t dead. Heck, the Alliance even outnumbers the Horde on the Oceanic realms. There is no major crisis that’s going to make the faction ā€œliterally unplayable.ā€

You happy now, Tewa?

No, what would make me happy is if Alliance complainers would look at the decay of raiding on both factions, instead of just narcissistically focusing on the Alliance.

Now that’s a fair topic to get behind. And it’s not just raiding, really, its the population of the game as a whole that’s decaying. Shadowlands better not repeat the mistakes BFA made, I don’t know if this community could make it.

Unfortunately they’re doubling down on their war against the playerbase in Shadowlands, with covenants.

Do you play more than one spec? Too bad. Make another character.
Do you do more than 1 form of content (example: raid, and M+, and pvp)? Too bad. Make another character.
Do you want to finish all the storylines you’ve played halfway through, instead of just 1 of the 4? Too bad. Make another character.
Do you want to do all the weekly content, instead of just a quarter of it? Too bad. Make another character.

Ty for being a horde player that can see it for what it is.

LOL he’s not a Horde player.

What do you mean? I’ve played both factions extensively. If you stepped back and looked at the developers during Blizzcon, during interviews, they are obviously Horde fanboys, and that enthusiasm translates into the game. It’s why the Horde constantly has conflict. You can’t explore characterization of the leaders without a conflict exposing their motivations.

That’s why Alliance is seen as boring and one dimensional, theres barely a difference of opinion over what to have for dinner. Blizzard aren’t interested in telling a story where the Alliance have differences. The most was Tyrande walking out in a huff on Anduin, but it never really affected anything.

For starters you said nonsense like this:

Which is just, ya know, WRONG.

And:

Still waiting on that source.

Can you post on your Horde character you have played ā€œextensivelyā€?
