He gets his faith back in the third raid.
What about werewolves, the manâari and literal elves of the void itself?
Stop trying to turn the Alliance into the bad guys. Itâs not happening.
Anduin will obviously not become a villain either. Iâm done entertaining this funny notion.
You didnât answer my question.
I doubt we need an evil alliance while we encounter fights with the Arathi and their vague background. ![]()

âŚI donât feel like the âbad guysâ. Guess itâs all perspective. Certainly donât feel like the alliance are the âgood guysâ either. :X
Also, lol if thatâs what Anduin said, thatâs almost word for word what Saurfang said to Zappyboi before the siege on UC.
"I stabbed someone who doesnât blame me because she knows I was being controlled. I am unforgivable "
He certainly seems to think so, heâs been missing for what? 2 years over it?
In this case Anduin would just remain broken, not become a villain.
Has already happened.
- Daelin Proudmore
- Varian Wrynn
- Arthas
- Liam Greymane
- Antonidas
- Llane Wrynn
- Terenas Menethil

They are all dead. Bad people die.
I think there might be some off-screen things that Anduin has done that hasnât been said yet. Might be revealed during the expansion, or a new book, idk.
I hope not. I would be so disappointed, Iâm quite sick of nothing like Garrosh Hellscream happening to us. Garrosh was undisputably the best villain in all of World of Warcraft. If not for Shadowlands I would have said Arthas was⌠but heâs still a close second.
Unfortunately he didnât remain Alliance anything for long enough to really be called âevil Alliance guyâ. In my opinion at least.
Garrosh Hellscream was a bad choice for the writers in the direction for him. He was mislead to go into that direction. No one seem to remember that Wrathion manipulated him into going all out in the war against the alliance and most of what have happened also started with manipulations from the Twilightâs Hammer.
Afraiasabi even said that there was no consensus with the direction of Garroshâs path and he tried to change that in Cataclysm, but whatever. Garrosh shouldâve been a reckoning force to match Varyan and both factions have âhot headedâ leaders but also wise. That quest in Stonetalon that he kills the general Orc that killed the druids was great, but that was out of the character definition by the devs.
No, you donât want to have that done to you. Honestly. It is bad writing. When Sylvanas came out as well, everyone laughing and saying âgarrosh 2.0â which highlights, bad writing and direction with characters.
Arthas was an Alliance prince. That dates back to Warcraft III.
So many of us played through the campaign on beta. There are big bits of lore featuring a number of main characters including Anduin, Alleria, Thrall, Magni, Moira and her son Dagran and some new characters. Not really appropriate to give the story so far away.
During MoP the NPCs often told you to âslow downâ. In TWW thereâs often a thing on quests that says âstay a while and listenâ. Extra bits of lore can be revealed in an interchange between characters if you do.
As to note, according to the official Legion Comic Short. Anduin remains as High King Wrynn and gets older and slightly grizzled about to take on a reformed Legion. Grizzled part could be the parts of SL and his self rediscovery after that.

While, I have always liked the idea of the Alliance having some of theirs getting the villain bat, Anduin being turned into loot pinata again or even becoming a villain seems foolish.
Yes he is overtly kind hearted and wants peace, so much so it is a fault, it was this hubris during SL to get himself baited into being turned into a tool. Even as questionable and as terrible Blizzardâs writing is. I very much doubt Chris Metzen would even humor the idea of Anduin being a villain in his presence.
Turalyon has been in control of Stormwind for many years, itâs not going to happen. Heâs not that type of character.
Might need to rethink some of what you say:
Killed because he could not let the past go and was unwilling to give the Horde a chance to prove themselves different.
Killed on the Broken Shore to allow the alliance there to escape
Lich King, not much else needs to be said
Killled by Sylvanas, took the shot meant for his father
Killed when Dalaran fell to the actions of Archemonde
Killed in the first war, likely defending his people
Killed in the bombing of Theramore
Bad people die alone and with celebration, good people die doing what they know is right or by being killed by the bad people and are often mourned for the loss.
More like Alliance cried that they were portrayed negatively and demanded it be retconned so they can keep their shining facade.
Donât worry, the Horde will maintain status quo by making the entire Horde Council into mustache twirling villains.
If this does happen, it has a chance to be an incredible change if done correctly. If I had to choose one character to absolutely go bananas, it would be Genn Greymane (not fond of him currently) or Khadgar. Doubtful for both, but Khadgar losing his mind would be wild. I think he is far too beloved and reserved to ever fall to pure corruption, though. Genn is a time bomb with his rage.
