Hello, I see you posted a thread about something. Sorry but if the person behind the screen becomes emotionally distraught over a discussion or argument over a gaming forum, that isn’t the other person’s problem! There are rules on the forums over completely egregious comments so anything after that, the person doing the responding isn’t responsible or should they feel like that they should alter their argument for the sake of someone that has a conniption fit over a forum post, haha!

Are you sure about this, OP? I mean, I’ve seen a lot of threads where “forum-post generating AI” is a more plausible theory than that some person actually came up with a take that bad.

Hello, I see you replied to my post. Haha, maybe you should actually read what I posted! I literally said there are rules against egregious posts! After that, if you get upset over what’s posted, that’s entirely on the reader and the person that wrote it isn’t responsible for how you feel! That’s not abusive, that’s just life, haha!

Right…which is why a few out on the streets getting their feewings hurt need to grow up and join the adult world
In the adult world you let people say what they will say, even if you dont like it.
If you dont, you walk away and ignore them.
In here, either we mute threads or ignore characters to get the same ends.

Hello, I see you replied to my post. The subject of your thread is the forums, maybe you should stick with it, haha! In fact, when it comes to posts on the forums, yes, it is fine! As long as, as I said multiple times now, the posts aren’t egregious, what the reader takes away from it is entirely up to them! In fact, your real world scenario would work similar as well! News organizations have rules when it comes to showing certain things, but they aren’t responsible for how YOU feel about those things! If they report on another crazy shooting and you start crying over it, that was entirely on you!

In all seriousness, yes people could stand to be a little kinder to each other even when we disagree, but the wow forums are hardly a phenomenon in this regard.

by the way…i agree with you in principle. I have WAY too many people blocked in here, on facebook, etc…because they cant help themselves but turn things personal.
I used to sit and argue with them for hours, now I realize thats what they want. Attention they aint gettin at home.
When people act like that and you REACT the way they wanted you to, it feeds their beast.
As the mature person, one needs to learn to blow it off and ignore the person, and if its breaking rules, report them as well.
This world has become entirely hostile and the most hostile, intolerant ones are the ones screaming the loudest how everyone else is the hostile, intolerant one. lol.
I aint bothering with them anymore…here, face book, youtube,…wherever…my policy now is…irritate me, and we’re done…ignored.
Hopefully the folks youre referring to in the OP here who might be adversely affected will learn to do the same…just walk away and ignore
