I think you’re stretching by trying to claim that what’s happening to the Night Elves has anything to do with the lawsuit or what its revealed since it went public.
If Blizzard writers really had an anti-woman thing going for them, Jaina would not be the character she is and neither would Sylvanas, not to mention the other women who have been in leadership or important lore roles throughout WoW history. Names like:
