I wouldn’t look that far into it as it relates to real world politics but I would just mark it off as more terrible, ridiculously incompetent writing from the team who brought you “Sylvanas, the oldest villain in WC lore still in the game, gets a free pass because nonsense.”

Well, just look at Sylvannas’s sad face, she’s very sorry for all the murder she did. Can’t you find it in your heart to forgive her?

I think that you’re trying too hard to read into this.

The night elves were going to attack the horde in Silithus, the horde attacked back in Teldrassil. Night elves were going to continue killing goblin workers but I guess that doesn’t matter.

Of all the ways you could’ve said “they raised dead Nelfs,” this was not a good way to word it. To those of us who have been abused… it’s actually kind of offensive.

I assume you didn’t pay any attention to the 9.1 Ardenweald questline and all of the dialogue with Shandris and the spirit inside Heart of the Forest?

And your title? The worst hyperbole I’ve seen in a while. But I remember this is your MO.

Err no. Well first we don’t know the context of that situation or what Tyrande’s answer will be. All we have so far is two random dialogue lines.

The moral of Tyrande’s entire night warrior story arc is the choice between vengeance and healing and the negative impacts it was having on Tyrande’s character. Revenge is not always a good thing, it can even be highly destructive (ex: faction war). Sometimes it’s better to put yourself above the grudge and move on with your life.

We don’t know how Sylvanas’s story is going to end in SL. But I would bet anything she’s never leaving the SL or returning to Azeroth, regardless of forgiven or guilty. Tyrande is surely not the only one who’s going to decide her sentence. The Eternals would have a say in it too and Bolvar’s group.

So the point of this choice, speculating since again no context yet, is not about Sylvanas. It’s how do the night elves and Tyrande want to start their new chapter moving forward from all of this? Out of blood murdering Sylvanas or on a positive note of doing something morally better? One is healthier, one is not.

Franchise needs sylvanas lol. Its the bustier…err I mean her deep 1 dimensional character.

If only garrosh looked good in a bustier. He would still be around. The dude owned everything he did. I will give him that.

Basically…it’s ok to commit a genocide If you are a woman

To be fair the humans have been genociding the undead too. And a whole bunch of other creatures around azeroth. We all kill people for pocket gold.

But some have morals.

I fancy myself a leon the professional inspired person for my paid to kill lifestyle.

No women, no kids. That was Leon’s basic rule he’d follow. Now anything else…consider it done.

Love that older movie.

How do you know half the humanoids we kill like vermin/ furlborgs etc werent kids? Kliaxxi etc.

The story is essentially that Sylvanas wasn’t in control of her actions. Regardless of our take on such information, that’s the bottom line is the entire point behind the Jailer is domination magic, and making people do what they don’t want to.

Considering such, justice isn’t blindly murdering someone who didn’t have full control over their actions. It takes a lot more sense of justice to recognize the reality and respond accordingly, as opposed to just killing someone.

Additionally, this:

is a really unnecessary way to phrase “had the dead raised and fought against one another”.

I don’t understand the motivation to try and manufacture outrage.

weak bait, lazy bait, not even funny in the most ironic sense bait

This should apply to Arthas too right ?? since like banshee queen he too may have lost control over his actions after taking the blade

Don’t really. but quests like that skipped at this point if possible.

If my wow was like my modded skryim/fallout DEHtA gets a very nice power up.

Nessingwary would lose his protected NPC Status. He’d not be long for the world there after.

and then I’d pull some strings with the soon to be arbiter. He is my soulbind on a few chars so they owe me a few favors.

Pelagos…maw his butt. do this and we are squared up.
