There’s a list of servers that I fully ignore and refuse to invite folks from. Rag, Azralon, QT, and Moonguard for a few.

I wouldn’t mind it. I’ve had times I get a group together and somebody randomly yell EW STORMRAGE at my server and leave lol. Only a couple times but hey. I wouldn’t mind not having to wait extra to find people for some weird reason.
There was an addon for this and it got nuked by Blizzard immediately.
Wasn’t it PGF? It still works, you just can’t filter by server any more. I use it to filter out groups that already have a healer in it.

So what is it the South Americans are doing that is causing problems?

It’s funny because I’ve heard of people wanting to filter out all low pop servers on top of BR and RP realms.
It feels like people only want to play with people from about 20 servers.
Filtering out RP realms seems to be weird though. Just had an easy ++12 where 4 of the 5 were RP realm players. It isn’t like there is a latency issue and everyone knows people around MG Goldshire are either PvPers, tourists, or trial ERP accounts and not the ones actively doing M+.

Nope. PGF was never in the blizz crosshairs. Although it did get impacted by the API change just like every other add-on that read the LFG did.
It was Noobblocker that got nuked since everyone was using it and thus resulted in the the psudo shutdown of entire servers worth of players. From memory, Noobblocker blocked all SA and OCE servers by default. It was basically the communities response to dealing with lag and general toxicity. Of course, that’s not to say it was foolproof as there’s plenty of toxicity on NA servers. Personally I always found Moonguard to be one of the most toxic servers by far.
i can understand language barrier, but MoonGuard? (beside the ERP aspect of it) What would be the reason?

honestly i found it entertaining when youd get a moonguard peep and they would have all their skills macroed with an emote.
then youd get that one random moonguard person that was all business and acted “normal” i guess than what youd expect a moonguard player would.
Wouldn’t that be considered spam in Dungeons/Raids?
im not petty enough to complain at someone having fun. and its not like they just spammed skills. either by skill or because they were away they would be spamming their skills. they wouldnt go and mass press the buttons lol
Y’all make no sense. MG has prog players just like any other server.

Many don’t run with those servers because the language barrier can make running content impossible. Personally, I’ve never had a good experience with them.
We were down 2 guildies so we invited 2 pugs to a key last week. It was a rag dk with a solid score and ilvl in a +10 ML. Easy.
They face pulled almost every pack up to the first boss. Couldn’t kick the footballs. Died to the quaking adds several times. Second boss, they completely ignored the fixate add and just dps’d the boss leaving me and the other pug dps to kill the add.
It was a mess.
Oh and one of my favorite rag raids was in SL. Heroic sylvanas. We only did 1 pull, but it was horrendous. We didn’t even get past p1. Full guild group, me and my friend were the only pugs. Being a hunter. I just turtled and feigned to reset her.
They all rez’d. We buffed. Ate. Then one ninja pulls the boss and the lead removes me and my friend from group. Me and my friend are in voice together just like what are these guys doing.
They all start running around and dying and me and her just hearth out.
But yea. I have stories like that from years of raiding and m+. So I have several blacklisted servers 
We still give them a chance every now and then. But nothing ever seems to change lol.
Yea I don’t get MG. People can be weird, but it’s mostly a super chill server.
I’ve never had a problem there.
Any other server except Sentinels, Sentinels has no prog players.
