I was thinking maybe Blizzard could just remove the option for Warlocks to queue into any form of arena or battlegrounds. It would save us all headaches and frustration. Then they could just give what’s left of our good spells to Demon Hunters or something like that, just an idea.

Why? All 3 lock specs do fine in arenas with the right comp, Isn’t there a 3k demo wls team? Thug is like 3100 as destro and I’m sure there are 3k afflics lock, I mean they can do things like this https ://clips.twitch. tv/ SarcasticCooperativeGarageChefFrank ( remove spaces). Afflic is op in rbgs, destro spams 100k chaos bolts in randoms, and I grab pots and beserker and hit 80k demonbolts in randoms as demo so idk.

One day, DETHMATCHBAWKSers will realize that no one cares about your little box. Something like 94% of the people who get full sets of PvP gear… never set foot into Arena.
Warlock is trash right now in PvP. Its not fun. You have to be hard-carried by your team and babysat just to do the damage other classes/specs can do without being babysat and carried.

I mention random bgs too. They do fine in those and I never seem to require a babysitter, I just stand in the backline and freecast and win most my 1v1s its a random bg.

The only locks that are “doing fine” are multi-season glads. Of course they’re gonna do fine regardless of circumstances.

Not whining, just wishing the situation was still better. Still obv will continue to play the game as usual. Not like I won’t try to at least do my best ofc
One thing I do agree with is that we at least are getting some fixes and tuning here and there and that’s more than nothing. It definitely has come a decent way since beginning of xpac. Therefore, this is good. I won’t make my whining thread until after 8.1 is released and I get to see the tuning for myself.

Yup, I’m about to just stop playing WoW. I play primarily for the PvP, and once I tried even a few arenas there wasn’t much point at all, especially 2v2. If most mele classes can touch you, they can kill you, we either need more mobility, more tankiness, or some kiting aids. I say they just remove us from the game and give all raids a warlock NPC for cookies and closets. What a joke.

Random BG’s are hit and miss. Sometimes I can sit back and destroy people if I have a good front line. Other times it seems like all the rogues and demon hunters will chase me across the map as soon as they see me to get a free kill.

I enjoy myself in duels/bgs/scrims/arena. I am sorry you do not enjoy yourself on your warlock. Do you only play one spec? I would suggest becoming proficient at all 3 specs so you can excel even when 1-2 are in a weak state.

summon a bunch of demons when tyrant is out. in randoms you can grab zerker and pots too for extra damage.

Idk how you’re enjoying yourself in arenas man. I’ve tried destruction and affliction and it’s just gross. Most classes tool kits are just better then ours. Mage/rogue can prevent you from literally doing anything for 75% percent of a fight and any two melee training you and it’s just down right frustrating. You have to literally play at 5x their skill level with a god level healer to win while they just smash their face on the keyboard.
Hat off to you for finding enjoyment in this dumpster fire.

I have tried all 3 over and over and over. For me the affliction lock seems to have the most survivability, still pathetic compared to everyone else and almost zero dps. Destro and Demo I get mauled. As soon as I do 1 bolt, its almost like the other team freaks out and I spend the rest of the match getting stunned, feared, etc and smashed by rogues, DH, and hunters.
Unfortunately the only way to enjoy PVP as a warlock is to twink a warlock. Warlocks with retarded stats are actually balanced, so we can either wait until 8.3 to finally be decent, or twink where you’re at 35% on all your secondaries and have twice everyones max health.
